 How to Quit smoking?

I'm smoking way too much...i need to stop...is there anyway to stop smoking with out any medications?

downgrade your brand of cigarettes (i.e., buy cheaper ones) that taste really bad or better stop buying cigarettes. That should help you quit.

Depends upon what do you smoke
IMO best natural method is to cut your fingers..

Pokhari has a good point. If you can afford and set aside 12 days out of your schedule, you might want to attend one of the 10-day Vipassana retreats! It may appear a little painful first couple days, more so adjusting to the aberrant routine than to holding off smoking; but if you can get past that, I'd imagine quitting smoking would be relatively effortless.

Another 'quicker' approach I can think of is to try out NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) to (I like to call) 'configure' yourself the way you want to be (perhaps becoming smoke-free too!). I don't want to advocate on this here. But, maybe read some articles about it, or look for a book? If nothing, it'll be a new/different learning experience!

माथि साथीले भन्नु भए झै मन लाई बाधेर चटक्कै छोड्न सक्नेले मात्रै छोड्छ,  नत्र मद्यपानका कथा दोहोर्याउ होला, चार दिन सम्म भट्टी नगएको खुशीमा पाचौ दिन गएर ढोक्र्याको हामीलाई थाहा नभएको हैन। कथा छोडौ, सत्य कथा सुनाउछु " मेरा छिमेकी , नताले ११ दिने हुन , आमाको बरखि बरुन्जेल मध्यपान छुदै नछेको मान्छेले  बरखि सिद्धिए पछी पनि छोडन सक्नु पर्ने हैन र " He did not.

मेरो भनाइ छोडनलाई बहानाको खोजी मात्रै हो , तर छोडन सक्ने नसक्ने कुरा ब्यक्तिको मानसिकता मा भर पर्दछ। यसै सन्दर्भमा आर्को घटना लेख्न्दै छु। म र मेरा मित्रले गैंडा चुरोट बाट सुरु गर्यौ धुम्रपान। म चाँही आलिक बाठो भए अनी बाउ आमा हरुले समतेनन र लामो समय सम्म एस्को मजा लिए भनौ वा दास भए, थाहा छैन कती दसक पीईयो, पछी धुवा सहनै नसक्ने रोग र झन्डै टोखा पुर्‍याउनु पर्ने अवश्ता मा छोडियो , अझै पनि जाडो महिनामा एक हात खोकिलामा आर्को हातले चुरोटको सर्को सर्काएको देख्दा पुरानो तल तल् ले सताउद छ, प्रार्थना छ मृत्‍यु
 सम्म छोडन सकु अनी छोडन चाहने हरु ले   पनि।

मेरा मित्रको कुरा झन्डै बिर्सिएको, उनी म जस्तो बाठो हुन नसकेकाले उन्का पिताजिले देख्नु भएछ " साथीले सौचालयमा पिएछन, समातिने भै हालेनी " । गाली खाने र पिटाइ खाने डरले झन्डै कट्टु चिसो परेका थिए, तर उन्का पिताजिले गाली नगरि भन्नु भएछ, हेर छोरा तैले चुरोट पीइस भनेर म केही भन्दिन किनकी म पनि पिऊछु , अनी तलाई चाँही नपीई भान्दिन। तर एउटै कुरो चाँही मानिदे , जुन दिन त आफ्नो खुट्टामा उभिने सामर्थ हुन्छस ( आफ्नो कमाइ सुरु गरे पछी ) त्यो दिन म आँफै सँग राखी बाउ छोरा सँगइ पीउला" मेरा मित्र स्वाबल्म्बी हुने दिन पर्खिएर बसे  अनी उन्लाई त्यो लतले छुएन।
