ब्राहृमण समुदायद्वारा छुट्टै राज्यको माग

१ मंसिर, चितवन । चितवन जिल्लालगायत आसपास क्षेत्रका ब्राहृमण जातिले छुट्टै प्रान्तीय राज्यको माग गरेका छन् ।

ब्राम्हण जातिको उल्लेख्य उपस्थिति हुँदाहुँदै चितवनलाई विभिन्न जातिले
आफ्नै राज्यको माग राख्न थालेपछि ब्राम्हण समाज, चितवनले शनिबार साँझ
भरतपुरमा एक कार्यक्रमको आयोजना गरी छुट्टै राज्यको माग गरेको हो ।

चितवन, नवलपरासी र मकवानपुरका केही क्षेत्रसहित समेटेर छुट्टै राज्य हुनुपर्नेमा उनीहरुले जोड दिए ।

समाजले नवलपरासीको दाउन्ने डाँडादेखि चितवनसहित पूर्वी मकवानपुरको गढीसम्म नारायणी प्रान्तको माग गरेको हो ।

ब्राहृमणलगायत क्षेत्री र ठकुरी जातिको आवाज हालसम्म कुनै तर्फबाट
नआएको भन्दै समाजले आफूहरु सङ्गठित भएर हकअधिकारका लागि अगाडि आउनु परेको
समाजका अध्यक्ष काशिराम पौडेलले बताउनुभयो ।

समाजले कुनै जातिविशेषको प्रदेश हुन नहुने समेत स्पष्ट पारेको छ ।
समाजले आफूहरु जातीय सद्भावमा दृढ रहेको र समानुपातिक हिसाबमा सङ्घीय
हुनपर्नेमा जोड दिएको छ ।

जिल्ला विकास समिति, चितवनले दिएको जानकारीअनुसार चितवनमा ब्राम्हण
समुदायको सङ्ख्या दुईलाखको हाराहारीमा रहेको छ । समाजले ब्राम्हण
समुदायबाहेक उल्लेख्य जनसङ्ख्या रहेको क्षेत्री र ठकुरी समुदाय पनि एक
रहेको बताएको छ । चितवनमा करिब पाँचलाख जनसङ्ख्या रहेको छ ।

u may not know about no_quiros previous comments but him and i discussed in length about janajatis chora choris when UK granted their residency. i wrote i am happey for them but sad for their generations at the same time. because i grew with them and i know them. and he started supporting their kids giving examples of few studious kind. then later in other threads, he was bad mouthing janajatis. what kind of crap is that?

this is what i think abt division-united we stand, divided we fall and we are falling because of which today dhotis are dominant in the plains. we are poor, we are illiterate, we are hungry, we are everything but ONE. i see this strong rift in nepalese than in any other communities. every nepali walks with that pride that has become the reason of downfall. we should wash away that pride and bring that chnage within.

so the only pride i got was when i successfully completed my work in nepal twice. not because of race or caste. i totally resent when somebody says i belong to this superior class etc.

Do not try to threaten me in cyberspace... Use logic instead of bad words if you think you are a civilized person. So far the country has been ruled, abused, f***ked etc by khas. Now you want a country for khas. I do not see why you want a small piece of Nepal while you have been riding on Nepal till date. Nepal is already a small country, how far do you want to divide it? How about preserving what Nepal is today? How about democracy, equality to all instead of only to Bahuns and Kshetris? I don't think those dalit care they are khas or not, they want equality in society.
LOL ..."Phu"... Khas have done more than "phu" in Nepal and they did not make a single difference... Nepal is worse off today than 300 years ago. Nepal (KTM) was a better place than Tokyo 300 years ago. Now Nepal is the worst place on earth...sorry to say that...

It's NOT 2400 rajya. Baise and Chaubise meant, 22 and 24. Can u imagine 2400 and 2200 states in Nepal?

There is a big argument on whether Shah Dynasty is of Magar origin. Their facial feature and kul devata puja practice points they might be Magars. DNA test on Geanology will answer this question and many other ethnicity questions over time. Some time back I have read about a Dutch company trying to profile all the ethnic groups in the world and see how they are related.

But any how he is responsible for existence of Nepal and as such father of country, even though when he conquered basically it was for more land and money like any other conqueror of the world. and off course he did not conquer 2400 countries it was some countries of 22 (baise) and chaubise (24).

DineshK, First of all you have a right to ask for separate country for Khas. I do not advocate what is going on on the basis of jaat. But if it is going to happen, like every other community Khas should have too. If Newar can be in janajaati and adibashi why not Khas. Mighty Khas had a prsent in western Nepal to Kasmir to Khasgar to Caspian sea. All those names have link to Khas.

Every jati has a history and thing to be proud of , and there should be thing to be disgrace off too. Now you have talked about Mallas being Khas and not Newar. But before answering that look at the history of Malla long before they appeared in valley or in western Nepal. They were one of the janapda during the time of Buddha and was destroyed by King Ajatshatru of magadh (Magar King) shortly after death of Buddha. Malla ran out of the Kushinagar and went to shelter of himalayas, some went to valley and became Newar and some went to Gandaki and further west and became part of Khas.

And you do not have to shout and reply with bad mouth to bad comments, Take it easy. Who is what and whose culture is how developed do not need to be spoken. Just look around and you will see the evidence of great civilization in its architecture, technology, music, arts, crafts, trade and conquests.

You might be a khas and I a newar now, but who knows what you were or I a thousand year ago, two thousands year ago. Only thing for sure is we all are descendant of monky. so please do not try to spill the ethnic hatred.
