I do some volunteer translation from time to time and sometimes I come across words and phrases that are either difficult to translate or I cannot decide whether to translate them at all (because they have become popular enough to be easily understood but for the sake of 'purity'should they be translated?) Some that come to my mind are the following. Please advise Nepalese translation or is it better to leave them as it is :

agency = माध्यम, निकाय

Parallel goods = समानान्तर बस्तु

तल मैले दिएका बाहेक मुल्मिज़ ले दिएका शब्दानुबाद  प्राय सबै संग मेरो समर्थन छ|

agent =  दलाल (मध्यस्थ पनी मिल्छ तर दलाल बढ़ी उपयुक्त छ |)

Thanks to all ! Excellent suggestions. The translations I mostly do are government publications for general public. I prefer not to translate commonly used English words as they will be more uncomprehensable for common people anyway (Air Conditioner = बतानुकूलक ??? wow !) but the proof-reader may point out that some words have not been translated.

There are a lot of English-Nepali dictionaries online. So much so, you can type in unicode and look for its meaning. I was a bit skeptical before I checked them, but to my utter surprise, most of them were extensive and well-researched. If you know contextual meaning of those words presented, you would be able to pick an appropriate translation that you are looking for.

Asking people here for translation is like an exercise of Nepali words. Obviously, a single dictionary would be better than all the suggestions combined. There is no need of reinventing the wheel.
