plug into your computer it will pick up your device as a mass storage --- then just transfer.......easy!!

Plugging iPhone into computer may let you transfer videos and songs converting iPhone as mass storage device. But it won't let you work to watch and listen to them in iPhone. To make it work, there is no other way besides syncing through iTunes, if I am right.
