I recently started using www.[Disallowed String for - excessive promotion], and it seems pretty good. My sister referred it to me, I bought $10 card and got extra $10 dollars. You enter your Nepal's number in there, and they assign you a local number that you can call. It's pretty convenient. I can refer you (and both of us will get extra $10) if you want.

It is too early to thank, as the number of user goes up, you will find hard time to get connected, the phone does not ring but the phone card money will be going down on each call. You will not get credit for the drops call or charged charged for nothing. The voice is always static.

Why you we are happy about it? Because you got a calling card that is cheap to call Nepal? I am using MYFRIEND card , the 2 dollars card is gone down to 47 cents without connection. Should I be happy with this card?

Guys, I recently discovered Rebtel. I found it
really great. Just felt like sharing my experience with Nepalese
friends. Excellent calling service. Specially for people who want to
call outside kathmandu valley. decent rates..no long pin no. no hassle.
u can add an international no and Rebtel will give you a local no. very
easy. excellent service.  Rebtel offers a free first call for those who
are to try. its worth it. Please post testimonials if you like it.

Few days ago one of friend suggested me  http://hellohinamaste.com/  . I tired it. The quality is great and service charge is also Low.  I'm not sure what will be its service in future but for now hellohinamaste.com has the best quality I've ever used.

Best bet is getting call from Nepal. It is crystal clear, no hassle, no static. No drop calls. Just a rupee to 2 rupees a minute call ( does not apply people live out side big city).

Sorry for my ignorance
I got rid of my land phone. How does calling Nepal work with cell phone? Is the connection any good? I'm assuming I'll be using my "minutes" + the calling card amount. Any help will be very helpful.
Thanks
