Never heard about that. Which part of India is it in? By the way, why did you ask about Indian university here in Sajha. I apologize if I am unaware about this.

Where are you? Nepal or USA? If you are average student this university is good for you. If you are very talented student and can get scholarship in other universities then go for that one.
At MUM you need to stay on campus for 7 months. They will take care of all expenses (you may have to pay some money around 4000 upfront) including your accommodation. They will also provide SSN for you. You all expenses will go to student loan which you have to pay later [when you get job :) ]. After 7 months you need to start looking for job (they will guide you like recruiter); when you get some offer from some company they will provide full time work authorization and you need to complete your courses via distance education.
Let me know If you need any other information. I'm one of MUM student.

what are my chances of finding job after 7 months. It seems like this university is just like consultancy. you get 7 months of training and you pay them back for the training money after you get job.
but what are my chances to find a job after the 7 months? any students from there?

It depends on You Bhikari. MUM (Maharishi University of Management) will provide the platform and market your resume through www.csmasters.org and a weeklong job placement workshop at the end of 7 months to prepare yourself for the job market like resume and interview preparation. They are not going to place you. You have to find job and place yourself. Benefit is that you are working full time on OPT and CPT and at the same time learning through Distance Learning program where they send you CD/DVD of the course, professor assigned for interaction and submission of assignment every alternate week ( deadline followed strickly) , course run for 3 months and midterm after 45 days and final after 3 months. The difference betwen on-campus and off learning is that you learn one course at a time for one month while at University and off -campus course runs for 3 months. You have to $5000-$8000 during admission depending upon your prior job experience and academic records and coureware you have learnt before in your bachelor degree and once you are hired, your loan, $25000 (varies) for 2 years will be sanctioned with an interest rate of as high as 10% and you are suppose to pay back the loan every month ( min of $1100) for the next 2 years. I hope you get a clear picture now. Decision is yours. I bet life at MUM is not easy if you just think of maintaining your status. If you do not score atleast B in 3 course, you are out of the University and not to forget is the TM (Transcendental Meditation) that you need to get certify if you have not done it before and also on campus, TM is done twice daily and some of the lecturer will do TM in class also. Your course begins with 'SCI-Science of creative intelligence' for complete one month- I forgot how many video lecture but 33 lessons will completely transform you to become 'Sidhaas'. Do not worry, you will become computer graduate at the end.
