Heeeello... does anybody here know of any good and affordable grad school around california or texas... can't make up my mind as to where to apply... i am short on resources... so any kind of answer and suggestion is highly appreciated...

of course, there are plenty of grad schools in both CA and TX and some of them are really good schools. you have to consider a lot of factors, including your major , undergrad GPA and standard test scores and the tuition range that you can afford before you find the perfect match for you.


so be more specific and at least i can provide some information about grad schools in California and somebody will volunteer about schools in TX.

dhwase and poon-hill... thanks for the replies... well... m not sure which... but i have narrowed it down to computer science and information technology/IS... i did my undergrad in compsci... just applied to st. cloud minnesota and illinois university... i need 3 more... so guys and gals... if u know of any good and affordable grad school that you or somebody u know are going to or graduated from, please help me... i am desperate... i think that's the right word!!!

In what sense you are looking for a good school? In terms of money, reputation or what?
In Texas, if u have more than 700 in maths in gre you can get in-state in Lamar university. After that your total fee is around 700 per subject. But make sure there are 5 pre-requisiste and you may need to study that or it depends on.

@santoshkda02... m looking for a reputable grad school not necessarily one of those 1st division colleges but any accredited grad school and obviously affordable... thanks for suggesting lamar... never thought about it... will take a look at it now... and also i have considered not limiting myself to california and texas...
