What's the best online course for electrical engineering, preferably in energy, power and control side.
Which university offer that course?

If you are seriously thinking you can learn Electrical Engineering online then you might as well look for a medical course too. Understanding aside, good luck finding a job after you get your certificate from that online college. Nothing against online universities, they do have some good courses but Engineering is NOT one of them. The in depth understanding and lab practicals that you require can just not be catered at this time via online. If you want to supplement you knowledge then that’s a different story, some of the video search sites have good engineering lectures in them. Even MIT has open courseware available online plus in Itunes.

Save your time and money and enroll in a “real” college for engineering education.

I already have a degree from US univ and working in computer related stuffs. I want to get back to engineering jobs. So supplement my knowledge or refreshing my knowledge would be a good way to explain the situation. Looking for taking few courses or some short term certificate courses which may allow me to land on an entry level engineering jobs.

I am not trying to discourage you from taking the course but letting you know the reality. Hundreds of grads with Electrical engineering degree from reputed universities are not getting any job, many have settled to computer science profession. With that competition you think you will get a job with online degree? Unless you actually have electrical engineering experience in US your chances are very slim. I suggest you do a Masters course which is doable in 2 years and you have a better chance of landing an internship.

Purdue and Gatech online come to my mind for MS
