Hi folks!
 I just got my H-1B approved. Since my license has status check on 07/20/11, I need to update it. I'm from Minnesota by the way. Driving License here have status check date on it. It is usually the expire date of I-20 or exire date of OPT card. 

I would like to know what documents do DPS need to extend my staus check up to the date my H-1B is due to expire. 

FYI

1. My I-20 with H-1B info doesn't have the end date. 
2. Called DPS they don't know it either. This guy was saying all they do is forward the application to a different office. 
3. I haven't received a personal copy of my approval(I-797C) yet.

Take your I-797C (when you recieve it) and your existing DL to the DMV front desk. That's all you need.

Apart from H1 approval copy, take your passport, utility bill on your name (to prove that you're residing in Minnesota) and cell phone bill.

 I will do both. 

 I don't know about MN but you'll get 'IMMIG STATUS'  text mark on your DL out here in NJ.

even with the H1b status.
