what is shown in this video that makes it worth crying? i didn't cry; didn't even feel a thing but i still say, I am Nepali. they sold old weapons, so what? they were old, useless, Nepal and it's leaders had no idea/creativity about how to make use of those arms so they sold them to India at the price of scrap metal which I think is not that big of a deal.

i agree with jantarei, exactly bro, as long as the money was put in Nepal's rajaswo...who cares if they sold those rusted old weapons, I don't think Nepal would like to prioritize funding for housing these weapons anyway , yah i agree that historically they might have served a purpose but why keep it the way they have kept it and lose more money? I did not cry over this video, sorry to say Mr. Dahal this particular story is yet again another pointless work you have done and has failed to impress me much like your over hyped work "kagbeni"

I do not think we need to cry watching these video. Rather, it seems that proper procedure was followed and deal was made. I do not know at whose behest Kantipur TV is making this program as if it is something new to them.
On a different note; Kantipur tv used to be a mouthpiece of maoists and then after SPAM leaders. Himal media and Kantipur TV I guess paid the price of thier deeds. Kumar Fudung and Bala Nanda Sharma would have been the triators, (kumar fudung for sure) who played with then RNA soilders life, should have been tried in army tribunal.

I am sorry for not posting the detail .
First of all I should have posted all the videos it is in 3 parts :
1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPUiHMUq9OU
2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2jwh-m8Z34
3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezcAbsqTN40
Watching all the parts viewers will have better idea what really had happened.
I Know there are real nice writer/narrater and presenter in sajha I am not one of them!!!! I like SHANTIPRIYA's writing a lot.
I am just trying to share what i know and I think.
Few months ago one of my friend who is a gun collector told me about nice nepali guns for collections and gave me a book.
TREASURE IS WHERE YOU FIND IT .
below is the link of the book :
http://www.ima-usa.com/book-treasure-is-where-you-find-it.html
Once you read the book and put all the piece together and after watching the video in kantipur I figured out there is a biger picture than what it seems.
I wouldn't have worried if they have thrown all these old guns and ammunition in bishnumati or whatever....
I think Mr. Fudung was actively involved in the whole business, he was in army than , played major role in selling these stuffs to this company in NJ ( actually they were planning to get those antiques from Nepal for last 50 years , it is written in the book ) . Mr Fudung and some bhrasta neta made it possible , probably some koirala klan ( like rubel involved in Sudan ghotala) especially Mahesh Acharya who was I think rakshya minister.
Yo sabai garna they needed milemato from Maoist too, I think according to the book Mr. fudung played role on that ( Maoist later on rewarded him making Sabhasad ) Maoist must have gotten huge sum of money to buy weapons from this deal to kill Timi hami jasta innocent people.........
I really appreciate all of your input if you read the book it is more detail and convincing than the kantipur presentation.
My main point is A bahalwala army doing this treason to make happen sell national treasure making money probably for maobadi for their so called People war
IMA is making Millions of dollors selling our property. check

To those who dont think this was an immoral or anti-national act I would like to call them coward not even coward nepali. I know this was done during the war to surpress moist movement, but how could they sell the whole Nepali's pride for nothing. I am glad that those people didnot sell us, Nepalis to foreigners as their slaves for the sake of their political career., I can only cry at this moment

Sano bhai !
I was really surprised by everyones comment here in Sajha on this issue. I was thinking either they have no clue what had happened or they were plain and simple ignorant but eager to put their worthless 2 cents without knowing the matter.
Indeed it is a very serious matter and kumar fudungs explanation is a must watch video. He ruined the oppertunity to clarify the things.
After reading the book " treasure is where u find it" i am pretty sure there is a big money game.
My main concern is maoist might have gotten the commission to upgrade their so called " jana sena " in this whole deal rather than upgrading Nepal army , because of traiter like Mr. Fudung ( who later became sabhasad from maoist party).
Cheers bro
we will keep on following what goes on!!!

Here it goes ,
Christian Cranmer the owner of international military antique talks about "gahendra Rifle" which in fact was even advanced than contemporary british rifle at that time, it is amazing.
Apparently we even dont have anymore Gahendra rifle to put in Nepal museum.......
I think it is not a bad idea to buy one from mr. Cranmer and donate to Nepal goverment to keep in museum....
Shameless politician and military of ours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it probably does not make u cry, and i won't say anybody anti -nepalese, for not having any negative emotional effect by watching these scenes, but for me yeah it was worthwhile, to watch how the whole parts of government (monarchy, political parties and royal nepalese army) was involved in this scandal, n how ignorant they were by claiming they were unused weapons that got them fund to purchase weapons against the maoist revolution. its just plain disappointing to see something that's important for our history to reach in the hands of foreign people, atleast we regard them as foreigners but they state us as aliens.
