naam chahi tyasto jolly chha, manchhe chahi depressed? suhayena hai! first of all, everyone has problems. some have big problems, some have small ones. and i bet you are depressed because you have some problem(s) or you are not satisfied with your life. what really matters is how you tackle things. anytime you think you've a bad situation, just think that it could be worse. i don't think medicine will help you, all those pills do is release dopamine in your brain to make you happy, that's it! just like any other drugs or even alcohol. find good friends, take your job and/or study positively, just try to be happy. don't think too much about things that depress you. things happen - both good and bad but life goes on.
take care, you'll be fine. just keep your mind occupied in good things, happy things, like this

I am thinking may be you're going through rebound depression? Did you recently stop taking your medications? Here is an interesting blog about rebound depression that you might find helpful: http://www.paxilprogress.org/forums/showthread.php?t=36724
Continue with your therapy and keep doing whatever has been working for you so far. You will be fine. : )

Bubly,
I dont know what your situation is. Let me give you a simple suggestion. First love yourself, follow your dreams, and then think about your surroundings such as social life, love life, family, and others. If you cannot control yourself how can you support others. Always keep in mind that one day you will be on your own and people will always judge you no matter what.
Last night i was listening to Anderson Cooper. He talked about a women in Africa, who was gang raped. They made her brother to have sex with her and killed him after he refused to do so. They burnt her children infront of her. Basically, these gang of political supporters were trying to frighten these villagers by making a family as an example. Later that women was kicked out by her husband. That women is still alive and fighting against the government.
There are worse things around us. Just look at inspirational poeple around you and take it from there. I know life is hard, but keep in mind its just a phase and will go away. Dont get lost in imagination and stop thinking too much. Love yourself and try to be happy.

Please please consider meditating and yoga.
I won't advise you to get off the medication w/o counselling your doctor, but I have heard horrible instances of the side effect. You also cannot get off of it abruptly, you have to taper it down. PLease look more into meditation and yoga. Go find some group to get yourself engaged; visit meetup.com or something.
