It is easy to sell utopia back home but hard to come up with the concrete and convincing argument in an international forum. Those who are touting the academic ability of BRB, I hope they are watching it too and witnessing the mockery of his own conviction " Marxism". No doubt these professors who are asking, have better, historic and global understanding of rise and fall of Marxism.

There is no doubt that BRB tried his best to sell the "marxism" in the context of Nepal, especially someone talking about this in a region which has been crippled with "extreme capitalism". The questions raised were very relevant. One particular panel member S. Reddy (obviously from South india) was completely on BRB man! This is why the indians are so well ahead of we gorkhes. I don't know this Reddy personally but probably he must be a professor somewhere. At one point it feels as though, he's so awestruck to see someone from Nepal calling himself an academician and lecturing in NYC.
I feel this is absolutely premature for BRB to seek international attention from so early on. His focus should be local at this point. He knows that the whole world is going to come down on him. He still bears the stigma, responsible for killing so many innocent nepalese families. My question for BRB is "During all his time of the so called the revolution, peoples movement, marxist movement there isn't a single example where an elite class/ruling class/politicians then and their families being invloved (by involved i mean killed). Why is it that only the poors were selectively killed and forced to join the movement to counteract the opposite force?" Everyone knows the ruling class then still continue to remain the same. I doubt BRBs and his marxist principle here. He sounded very confident and adamant about his ideologies but only time will tell. I still advise him to stay local and not seek international attention from this early on. He did struggle with his english at times but on the brighter side, so far in Nepal's history (i think) he's the only PM to have this good of a spoken english. What you guys say?

By far the best speech/discussion from any of our leader.... but then again the bar was set really low by his predecessors. I missed the first half. Anywhere we can find a recorded vdo? I didn't like jatiya statehood but he did clarify few things out there.

I agree with some points with namaste kathmandu, so called revolution never took any action against so called burgoeis class, and perhaps we will never get the answer to this question, because all this so called revolution was imposed upon us at the behest of ??? as you know. On one sight, not considering his English, he did not give any definitive or " concrete" answer to the any questions, let alone saying "thank you" for the question. As he too agreed base of marxist revolution was sound internal industrial mechanism, and how the hell that will happen in nepal? questioned by many and left unanswered not surprisingly! yes selling political jargon to uneducated is easy-certainly not easy in international front where anybody is as good as anybody!! rightly better not to confront such situation word of advise to nepal's so called academic pm.
