check the modern firmware, if that happened to be 4.11.08 then you are out of luck. Gevey sim is working on unlocking iphone 4 with 4.11.08. Heard that they close to releasing working sim.

You have no option other than to wait for someone to come up with unlocking process. Or you can sell the current phone and buy the unlocked iphone4. But keep in mind that eveb unlocked iPhone4 are pretty expenuve
