Tell your empolyer to participate in E-verify program. It's free and sooner or later goverment will make this mandatory (Some States it's already mandatory).
I did the same. I went to my HR and explained her the E-Verify program. Since it's didn't cost anything for Company, they participated and I got the extension.
1. Get the documentation from uscis website.
2. Summarize it with couple of screen shots. But make sure you have the detail documentation.
3. Explain them how the program works.
5. Make sure to highlight the section where it say's "it's FREE" and "it's voluantary"
6. Once they participate, tell them to send a letter to your school which must include"E-Verify Number"
7. Your school will issue you a new I-20.
8. Apply for Extension, same process as your first OPT. PLUS you new I-20, current OPT card copy, and the E-verify number on I-765
9. Make sure to apply before your current expires. USCIC needs to receive your document before the expiration date on your current EAD.
10. There is no number 6.
11. You are looking back to confirm it, but you see number 6.
12. Instead there is no number 4.
13. Stop checking number 4. You got the message, now go execute your task.
Hope this helps.
