As far as i know, Nepalese communities are also planning to file Motions appeal in Department of Homeland Security, and Attorney Dilli Bhatta is helping them to draft Motion. One of the community leaders Sanjaya Thapa told us they will file within couple of weeks. Now, Just wait and see.

Each and every organization in us acts as separate body and have little or no influence from other.Being said that,question comes to mind " will DHS considers Kerry's recommendation"?

I wish I had't read this. "The Government of Nepal has requested TPS, and Secretary Kerry has sent his recommendation to the Department of Homeland Security, which is now considering a determination." I thought TPS was not a possibility anymore, but looks like there is still hope. A few more weeks of mental anguish..ugh..I would have preferred to just move on knowing there was no hope anymore.

Hope we hear something in the month of June.

Stop dreaming, be realistic. See the past records, several countries hit hard by typhoon/quakes/storm were never ever granted TPS despite their desperate plea to be granted TPS, who do we think we are. Sorry, it's bit harsh to say but that's the reality.

Now only hope is DHS granting TPS. Experts can only answer. Hope it will not take that long

When Nepal is ready to give you a PPS, why are you worrying about TPS? This doesn't make any sense to me. Even if you are a criminal, Nepal will give you a PPS right away!
We are all traveler in this universe. Currently, you and I are going through human experience. Do you know how many lives Atma has to go through to obtain a human life? 8,400,000 lives Atma experiences and obtains this precious human life and all you care about is TPS in this human life? This is total ignorance ! Wake up from this dream world and claim your Lion status. Lion doesn't have to declare he is the king of jungle. His existence itself is enough to shake the entire jungle. Be like a lion. Seek PPS.

Tps bad good ho ho.ok . But ujl Ko kura sunera kyaa achammai lagcha. Kasto prabachan dine ho. Tetro lives pachi manis jivan ho bhane then why not let people aim for what they want . Why must you interfere.and if you really have such englightenment why' u must be in land of greed. Why can't you be with your relatives and family and be in a place where the aatma doesn't need material things .

Kehi update cha Ta sathiharu?

Keeping the thread alive. This week will be crucial. This week is probably our best chance of DHS issuing TPS. If it doesn't happen this week then the chances of DHS following Secretary Kerry's recommendations will highly diminish and we should essentially forget about TPS.

Question is what happens after bill is introduced and refer to DHS,can this just die without any action taken?

@JaiPashupatinath -- right now there are two ways Nepal can be granted TPS. Option A: The bill passes House and Senate, is signed by the President, and becomes law. Option B: Director of DHS issues TPS through executive action. Option A has no chance. There is no way this Bill will go anywhere. It will just die in Congress. Option B is what I was referring to. Option B has nothing to do with the bill in Congress.
