I am working on a food business right now. My boss is ready to file GC for me but it is not relevant to my education here in US. If anyone has experience please do share it.

As long as your PERM / I140 goes through you should be fine. But you will have a hard time getting your PERM through based on Eb3 / EB2.

Its not based on industry but your position. If you meant chef / cook as a job , I would say no you cannot. But then you can work for Macdonalds(food industry) as an engineer and qualify.

You should have a relevant degree that match with your current job otherwise chances of getting RFE are high.
