Its hard to find neplese in Missippi because it is one or other ways a conservative state. I am in Alabama and I can imagine how its like in Missippi. To be honest with you I dont like these southern states in general. People are not so much friendly and they will always treat you as an outsider. I suggest not to transfer there. Just dont think about south for your education. Consider north. 

Just my thought...rest you can decide.
