Does having a bad grade in school get you in trouble at your port of entry to America? Coz i did very bad this semester due to depression and anxiety and I am taking a semester break. Will I get in trouble when i return? Can they pull up my grades at the immigration? What all information do I have to carry with me when I come back? What kind of questions do they ask at the POE? I did work outside too, and I'm a little scared about that.

i don't think you will have any problem with both your grades and prior work. Did u really need to cite depression and anxiety though???

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't have it cited or "documented". Its just a very bad phase I'm going through. I'm doing very bad at school, I'm homesick and I also got sick quiet often this semester. I just wanna take a break from all this and stay with my family for a while.  Would it be better if i have doctor's papers for that?

I think a letter from the international student office would suffice. You will also need to get your i-20 signed by them. As long as your visa is still valid at the time u enter and u have your i-20, you will have no problems. gud luck:)

U wont have problem if u have proper travel endorsement in your I-20. Have good time in Nepal.

You should be fine. But for your safety, try SFO  POE, they are quite easy. Avoid, O'Hare, Newark, and JFK. I just hear bad stories there.
