Does a Nepal born, but a US citizen has to obtain visa before entering nepal or immigration authorities would stamp ur passport in the airport? Any help would be appreciated. THNX

Visa to visit nepal is stamped at port of entry (e.g. KTM airport). Call nepal embassy for detail.

hey man, i know blue passport would mean a heck of a deal, may it be in foreign land security check post or wherever not to mention other citizen privilleges in the states.
just wondering, did it ever cross ur head to just keep the green card and not surrender the nepali passport?

Once you take up another country's citizenship, you automatically forfeit Nepal's.  So, you will need visa to enter Nepal.

You can get a visa at the embassy or consulate abroad or you can wait until you reach TIA.  If latter, make sure you find out first which forms to fill and which lines to be on, otherwise it might take an hour due to confusion.

YES. U GONNA NEED VISA. BUT GOOD THING IS THEY WILL GIVE AT THE AIRPORT. DON'T FORGET TO TAKE AT LEAST COUPLES OF PASSPORT SIZE PHOTOS WITH U. THEY CHARGE $$ N U HV TO WAIT IN THE LINE FOR LONG TIME. BEEN IN THT SITUATION THIS OCTOBER. JUST HV UR PASSPORT N PHOTOES U GOOD TO GO MAN.

Everybody gets airport visa in Nepal. Make sure yu got all the necessary docs to show in the POE.
When you are in Nepal do not accept any unauthorized employment. Boy!! Nepalese immigration is so strict about that. You might be deported if caught and will have 10 years bar to apply again.

 I am not proud abt my decision, but well "life is good" try running in my shoes bro. I mean I don't like it any more than u do, but well life's  a bitch its not so good as ur name suggest.

 so, what else should i take beside my passport, if i am planning to go nepal sometime real soon. I hv learnt that i will be needing some passport size pics too. What else??? if u got some info, plz let me know..
