KATHMANDU, OCT 24 -

A person here has committed suicide due to poverty.

 

Dhana Bahadur Pariyar, 50, of Madhi has killed himself after he failed to manage the Dashain expense for his family because of poverty.

 

The police investigation shows that Dhan Bahadur, father of twelve children decided to kill himself after failing to fulfill the basic needs of his family during the Dashain, said the area police office Madhi.

 

The body of the deceased has been kept at the Bharatpur Hospital for post-mortem.
