 Hello all.

i have bunch of gmat books for sale: i am not going type every single book name. i will just put the pic up so you can see.

all of the manhattan gmat prep books. they are a year older than the new version that is out right now.  however, there is practicaly no difference between the old and the new verison. kind of  like how there is not much of a difference between v 11 and v 12 of official g to gmat.

i also have official guide to gmat v11 and v12. (i wil give you V11 free if you guy all the book for satisfying price)

i have gmat critical reasoning bible.
kaplan math workbook.
gmat hack with answer guides (free if you buy all the books)
how to get into top mba program.

now, if you have ever looked into taking gmat and looked into buying books you know these books are very expensive. since some of them are 1 year older, i will sell them for discount. i will not quote a price. i want to give everybody a chance to quote their own price. i am most likely not going to sell them individually.  so, you will have to buy all of them.

now to the obvious questions:
1. what did i get? 690 at first and than 720.
2. are you going to any school. planning to? no. may be. i am getting it out of the way.
3. do you need these books to get a good score? depends. if you think you can get north of 700 with just OG than go for it. if you need help manhattan prep and bible are the best thiing out there. ask around.
4. why are you selling it here? why not craigslist? sound fishy? i figure i might as well sell it  to my own people if i am going to sell it for discount. nothing fishy here.

Blunt advice; if you CANNOT get into top15-20 MAX BS school than forget about going to BS school. so, you need atleast north of 700 to get into top 10. i am not a expert here but i've talked to enough people to know this much. the books i am selling are extremely helpful. if your dream is to work for top 5 ib banks or consulting firm you know what you need to do. by the way there are nepali people who had/are worked/working for these companies. i am in no liberty to share their info here.

ok, please DONOT send BS email. dont waste my time or your time with stupid emails. only serious inquiries only ASAP.

i have also bunch of gmatbooks , just wondering if we can have a platform in sajha to sell gmat books or other stuff

your advice is valid, if you cant get into top 20 b school, then its not worth it, other just sell dreams or else u must be already working and just want to enhance the present job function with new ideas and networking.

No way you scored 720. Your writing suggests score south of 550. :o)
I think you are at best a BOM at a top IB.  :o)

"690 at first and than 720"

Not sure if you're telling the truth but anybody who can't differentiate between "then and than" and brags about scoring 720 should kill himself.

That said, if you truly scored 720, why don't you just give it to someone else?

do you pricematch?

Also, not trying to be a smart ass, but schools that offer Masters in Accounting are also considered a part of "business school". I'm assuming you mean top 15 - 20 MBA programs? Just clarifying because I would hate for someone to spend 150K on a Masters in Accounting degree.

Since you are headed to business school, I would say that as a buyer, I think your ad sounds a bit smug. But who wouldn't be smug after the almost perfect score.

i don't know why it is so difficult for you guys to believe that sombody can get 720. i did not say i am going to or even headed to bs. i said i took the test because i wanted to get it out of the way. looks like nobody is interested to buy. i will sell it on craigslist.

thanks for the comments.

If I may, let me weigh in a bit on this post.

First of all, the books he has listed are good ones, specially the critical bible. I don't think Kaplan math book is the best out there, but I won't knock it down completely either. But know that GMAT has revised its test format and added a new section; any preparation should include that section as well; so it is better to get a new comprehensive preparation material...unless yours includes that already.

Now about the score. 720 is a tough score, only you would know if that's true or not. But it takes a good dedication and time to prepare to get 720 and nobody will do that if they don't have intention of joining MBA..IMO.Maybe you just had free time in your hand or your are naturally gifted..I don't know.

Finally, about your blunt advice. I think you are right on certain degree, but understand there are different reasons people seek MBA. Some want to stay at their company and need MBA to increase their chance to go higher; for those people any kind of MBA, even online MBA, might help. For those wanting to gain knowledge of business/finance etc, MBA from other schools will help. But yeah, if you are strictly doing MBA to find a really good job (consulting in top firm or mgmt position in a new industry) then don't waste 2 years and hundreds of thousands of dollars in a run-of-the-mill school.
Edit: changed weight to weigh in the first sentence.
