Personally, I think the artist is a bit insensitive towards the recent shooting with such a poor and cheap portyal.

I dont think there is anything wrong here. IMO, the artist wants to reflect the fact that
"Even Santa is sad because of this horrific/inhuman incident. He had covered all the little angel kids wishes but there is no one to give for."

Dude you barely know me to make such a premature childish notion about me. I guess you happen to be the artist himself or a kin that is very hurt by my PERSONAL interpretation. On top of that I assume that you are a art major that happens to have a direct source of understanding of the artist's message in ANY picture. I do not know who is making up any stories. I am not making up any stories. I saw this cartoon and I posted here to see what opinions people have ABOUT the cartoon NOT about ME! I am not spreading any rumour, hate or anything similar to that nature. I am only stating my PERSONAL opinion and fact that this cartoon was published in a daily newspaper. You are proving yourself to be a "Grade A" moron. Who cares about what the messege is intent. The blood flowing in the picture is the blood of 20 children who were shot down and no parents whose children died there needs to see it or want anyone referencing it. You are one insensitive crook along with the ignorant cartoonist.

No parents need a graphic visualization of the murder of their children regardless of what the hell the message is. That is just a general journalism ethics.

I wonder if the cartoonist would make this cartoon if he knew anyone affected by the shooting. In my opinion it's in bad taste. Come on you don't want to give your career a boost by drawing blood of children to add to your portfolio.

He could have made the same cartoon without so much blood flowing out of the classroom or even referencing the school at all but no..he could not let this oppurtunity get away. Or may be he was thinking since Santa was crying it makes it alright to up the anti by adding some blood in the mix.

I don't think the art deserves to be displayed in US, but I doubt the intentions of the art is to invoke humor or anger.

Rabin Sayami is know for sarcastic cartoon all through his life. When he creates this kind of cartoon which is highly sensitive ( forget about feeling for American emotion, its all about humanity), people will raise doubt over his intention. Whatever his intention might be, the cartoon should not be posted considering the nature of incident and emotion involved. People should think outside  my Nepal  your America and think the from the humanity perspective. I am fine if the cartoonist is attacking against American interest but when human lives have been lost, you cant justify the action by arguing that our Kali Mata has been degraded too.
