Although it seems you are only targeting Nepalese customers, make sure to keep the kitchen/cooking stuffs clean. A little compromise might put you in jail and/or significant fine.
By the way, buffalo meat ni paincha ra tya?

Are you renting a commercial space and getting license?

Selling home cooked stuff in Texas is illegal.

@ rupas:  i am not renting any space but will let know everyone before i do that. anyone intrsted free tasting can contact me and i will give direction. this will be my starting (since there is no many places to taste nepali food in houston ) so i cant put a big budget at first. illegal is also big word, i ant establishing big restaurant without license. its just home food to only nepalese in houston.

@ freedom2012:  thank you for ur official song. either sarcasm or official :)

13. I personally know several people who are making products in their home, packaging and selling at flea markets, festivals, fair, crafts shows, etc. How can they do this in their home and without a license?
An individual who manufactures and packages food for sale is required to be licensed as a food manufacturer. A requirement of being licensed as a food manufacturer is that no manufacturing can take place in the home kitchen. Individuals who make products in their home are in violation of the Texas Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, Texas Health and Safety Code, Chapter 431

@ codeme & @ magarkhel : thank you for ur interest & kind support. i am located at southwest. i will think about it but probably i will start with free-tasting.

@rupas: i dont understand why are u telling me all these. are u a lawyer ? name me a single person or single business that operates legally. u should be new to town. but still thanks for ur warning. i am not stepping back. nepali works hard enough to progress but some people like u holds them back.
