 Ram Babu Nepal

Dear friends,

Namaskar

It gives us great pleasure to inform you that a social institution "Ram Babu-Gyanu Samajik Sewa Puraskar

Kosh" (Ram Babu-Gyanu Social Service Award Fund) has been registered in the District Administration

Office, Kathmandu on 5 August 2013 (21 Shrawan 2070). Registration no. is 60. We have pledged to donate

Rs. 20 lakh to establish a trust fund. Our children (Nirmal and Pramila, Kalyan and Pratibha) have pledged

to add Rs. 2 lakh to this fund. This fund aims to annually honor and provide a cash prize of Rs. 2 lakh to the

person or institution or both for making exemplary contribution in the field of social service on voluntary

basis. Our brother Dhruba and sister-in-law Pushpa Nepal and friend Divakar Paudyal have pledged to add

Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 20,070 respectively to this fund.

A fifteen member Management Committee has been formed to manage this trust fund. The credibility of

this fund depends on its capability to select and honor right person or institution or both. The Management

Committee has the prime responsibility to make this happen. I sincerely request all friends to support this

fund by providing information about social institutions and workers making exemplary contribution.

For further information you may please write to fund's email address: rgssaf@hotmail.com or call 977

9841586477 (Chairperson) or 977 9841286257 (Member-Secretary).

With best regards,

Ram Babu Nepal

there used to be some musahar families in my village. they had a hand-mouth situation. if they did not go to work on somebody's field, they would not have anything to eat that day. now sometimes when i think about those people i really feel sorry for them. there is no way those people could ever come out of poverty.

Rambabu-Gyanu = Baburam-Gyanendra?
Is this some kind of joke?
