Hello friends, I've been living in US as a GC (through dv) holder for about year and half and I never care about my credit history as i was just working and living with that money ,never took credit cards or loan before .Now bcoz of some family reason i want to take around max 10,000 dollar personal loan from banks or any credit union .So without good credit score and all how can i get personal loan ..please advise me some information about it as some of you do have experiences /knowledge regarding this. tx

You might need a co-signer if you don't have credit history at all.

If you don't have a good credit score it will be huge APR (~25%, which you may regret later paying almost double of the loan amount) but if its urgent now, may be onemain financial can help.

Talk to your personal banker. That's the best way to go. Don't take loans off check cashing and other same-day loan providers. Else, you'll end up paying over 200% APR on your interest. Good luck.
