A yogi neither rejects this world nor accepts this world! He sees the reality as it is and lives as if he is an ignorant person. Deep within he rejoices the supreme bliss. Life expresses in layers. There is delight in everything. Even a person cries to seek delight. The joy which one feels after crying is indescribable in words. A just born baby cries not because he is in pain but to seek mother's attention and get mother's milk through which he can quench his hunger and experience the joy of satiety. There is joy everywhere. However, when mind comes into play this supreme delight gets lost somewhere as if darkness appear in the absence of light. Small babies make friends very easily because their mind is untainted by Asmita (I-am-ness). Their acts are random. They cry instantly and they smile that very moment as if nothing happened. The moment mind (Asmita) comes into play we start separating things as if the separations are real! The moment we separate ourselves from others, corruption starts that very moment. If one has to seek happiness in life, one must understand how guitar works. If the strings are loosen it won't produce any sound, if the strings are tightened too much it will break. A guitar produce melodious sound only when the strings are tightened in a moderate way. There is no other way out. In a similar way, one has to implement balance in life in order to live fully. Extremity of anythings becomes poison. On the other hand, poison can be used as medicine at right time in right proportion. One has to be vigilant all the time and decide what is conducive for his physical and mental well-being. The vicissitude of life can be overwhelming at times. Green card issue, relationship crisis, financial hardship, lost of relatives, marital problems etc. can preoccupy our mind. One has to find balance if one want's to experience joy. Asmita ( Individualized mind) is full of desires. One must be vigilant when desires sprouts from the subconscious mind. Human body is only the extension of mind. There exist no body but mind all the time. Body is just an apparent instrument from which mind runs outside to get the objective experience though the avenues called senses. Taste of delicious curry only last for some seconds in the surface of tongue and after that the whole food turns into an ugly chyme. You will vomit if you look at this chyme. The joys which one gets from this mundane external existence is temporary and full of delusion and illusion. One should experience this external experience but should not be attached to it. Live here playfully like a yogi lives. What is there to gain by doing something and what is there to gain by doing nothing? Therefore, live unconditionally like small babies do. Cry this very moment and smile the next moment as if nothing happened. Live here like an emperor, not like a beggar.

yea that's some deep thinking..wonder how practical is it in everyday person life. When things are good and you read an inspiring article it works and makes sense and very moment when stress hits you go back to your natural way of reacting. You return to your own roots that you have learned from childhood on how to deal to stress and happiness. Everyone has their own PTSD that they carries on forever.

@ Fiji_Water.....Where there is a subject there will be an object. The union of subject object creates various experiences. The only reason we are here in this planet is because of our unfulfilled desires (Vasanas). It is extremely hard to get rid of these Vasanas until you implement the correct methods to remove these Vasanas. Otherwise, we are trapped by our own experiences here. This is why it is called "Samsara" meaning "repetitive history." Welcome to this samsara where all desires are meant to be fulfilled through various births. The experiences of a lion is only possible by actually becoming a lion.

Being practical means being realistic in a "reality" which is self-produced and self-scripted,which furthermore got tagged itself with "duties" appearing in all forms every sec in this known time, amidst the perpetual movements of everything behind the curtains, invisible but existing nonetheless: from inexplicable, infinite, huge, massive Sun like objects in their own orbits! to deep down the contineous movements of the electrons and protons in an atom. The movement of these very focal points of our present reality if ceases to be lively(mix-max?) will certainly bent towards being dull and ruminating. Living in a system and living in a rhythm may sound similar but there's no music in system while rhythm moves and play actively in all spheres having a vast areas to flow in search of.........music??Music to compliment the rhythm in which particular individuals, animals, plants, water, car, anything that's made up of matter which is obviously tuning/travelling collectively in our space expressing itself in its own ways unbaised and neutral and rightly so. Made up systems and attachments mostly keep us earth-bound,well-known as "Samsara" restricting us to be playful in this vast playground of time and space.Everything dance/move/play in this cosmos in its own accorded tune,no matter how varied, simply justifying its pulsation and expressing itself in many forms no matter how outlandish or how impecceable. So,when Vasistha told Rama to stay silent for just some time to know the answers he prefer to know;he is merely saying to find his own tuning rhythm to the music of his own universe and get attuned with it.Its not the big planets that are powerful in the space but the vacant space which holds everything in its grip that produce a playful Universe---just my guess.
