sajhamitra "But Please explain to me which country in this planet is more democratic than US where you can freely express voice, blame your president, treat their people "Equally" & where there is no problem at all."

There isn't any country in the world that does not have a problem. You would be a fool to think otherwise. But I can certainly name few countries that have qualities you expresses above better than the US has and where the citizens are treated and cared for better. Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, even France, UK and Australia. In fact most of the developed nations. Free universal health care, free higher education (in some of these countries free college education), a real unemployment benifits, family subsidies, strong unions to protect workers from getting exploited by rich bosses, livable minimu wage, 5 weeks of paid vacation. You name it. Yes in some of these countries you may not make as much as you would in the US for the same post, but if you factor in all the benifits I stated above, you have a better and healthier living standands. This is for sure because I have worked and lived in the US (6 years), in Europe (Sweden - 16 months, Germany- 5 years and France- 2.5 years) and now in Australia (2 years so far).

"I think you are naive if you believe that by pointing out what is wrong with the system, I am against America. In a democratic country one is allowed to voice their opinion about what is wrong with the system"-illumination.

There is a difference between pointing out what is wrong and coming up with propaganda in every single thread. There has been numerous discussion that you have started that, if somebody reads without any context, would conclude that US is the most vile nation in the world and that living there is a crime in itself. Ask yourself, who is being naive? I have never said that US is better than every single country in the world, or that it doesn't have any problem, but to paint a negative picture of a single country every single time is just ridiculous.

There are issue with every single country, stop picking on one.

Hurray,
If those countries are better than US then why don't all people go there? Why students chose to study in US than those countries?
Please don't talk to me about Universal Health Care. Just go to US-Canada border, they have to wait for days to see a doctor and Government tax them more too. Some people even have dual citizenship just to get US healthcare.
Most non-emergency surgeries will require wait times. These wait times may put the patient at risk while they wait for a surgery or their condition may deteriorate as they wait. Those that need priority care make the wait times for others very frustrating. Seniors, those with life threatening conditions, and other urgent cases will be looked after first while others can sometimes wait a long time.
If I am making 100K/Year by working with my a$$ off then I certainly wants better healthcare than those people who do not work or who work 20K/Year. If there is no incentive of working hard then what's the purpose of working hard.
I am not saying US system is best. Yes it needs lot of improvement and changes are coming. And I am also very hopeful because changes are happening to improve it.

I can talk bad things about each country that you have mentioned above.

All I am saying is other countries systems are no better than US too. If there is a simple rule of success then everyone would have followed that rule, isn't it?

Sajhamitra, on your last paragraph you did imply that the US system is better than that of other countries, did you not? And looks like Fox news have fed you bunch of BS about universal health care. I don't know how it works in Canada, but in Germany and France you don't have to wait. It is no surprise that France is ranked number 1 by World Health Organization and not US. Having the best hospitals and doctors don't make the health care system best if it is not accessible to more than half the citizen. Only some very few rich people with millions and billions want to come to the US to get cured. But again it looks like you have believed all the lies they feed you in the US media.

You said "If I am making 100K/Year by working with my a$$ off then I certainly wants better healthcare than those people who do not work or who work 20K/Year." With argument like this, it is not surprise that the US does not have a universal health care system. No one cares about what you want and don't want. But a leader of a nation would want to have healthy citizens. A leader of a nation does not want his citizens to go bankrupt because of their health. Thank god, the guy who made education free in the US until high school did not think like you. Otherwise those who make less than 20K like you said would not be able to send their kids to schools.

Tell me what you think of this situation. A friend of mine who worked as a waiter had his mother sick. She had many health problems and her insurance stopped paying after a while since it was costing them a lot. My friend did not have much money to pay for his mom's health. So one day he confided in me with tears in his eyes that it is much better if his mom died. Think about it. Are we in the richest nation on earth or are we in a poor country with no system of any kind to help its citizen. And trust me, this situation would have never occured in any of the countries I mentioned above.

Another liberal feel good argument.
Government should provide free stuff.
So what else should a government provide for 'free'
Everybody deserves a home right? So that should be free.
Everybody should have free health care.
Everybody should have a free education.
What about food? Food is a basic necessity. Should the government guarantee food for everyone? All kinds of food.
what about a car? We all need to get around right? It is a basic necessity. How would we get to college to get free education. Everyone should get a free car too.
and what else?

Try delving a little deeper into so called free health care countries and look into the wait times for cardiac surgeries, hip surgeries etc.

Good luck in opening up your mind a little bit and try not to get washed away by feel good liberal ideas and theories. And don't drink too much Obama coolaid we all know where that has gotten us.

To Yuvaraj:
"Everybody deserves a home right? So that should be free. "
-- Poor people should also have right to a roof. So cheaper housing for low income citizens. This exists in the US under "Project" which are mainly occupied by poor blacks. And this service exists all over the world in developed countries. Heck, even Hongkong, South Korea and Singapore have government financed housings.

"Everybody should have free health care."
-- Don't you think health care should be a basic human need? And it is important if you want healthy citizens and don't want them to be homeless because they caught a cancer and couldn't afford to get the treatement. This could happen to anyone, even you.

"Everybody should have a free education."
-- No need arguing here. Even countries like Nepal and India provide basic education for free.
As the saying goes, education is power.

"What about food? Food is a basic necessity. Should the government guarantee food for everyone?"
-- This exists as food-stamp. Why, do you think poor people should die of starvation?

"what about a car? We all need to get around right?"
-- Not a car, but public transportation. Trains and buses, definitely.

The point is, each country has its priorities. It is just a matter of what does the government deliver to its citizens with money collected in tax from hard working citizens. Some countires prefer to spend it to make life better for its citizens whereas some countries prefer to fight wars to safe-guard raw materials and natural resources from other countries to its giants corporations.
And do not give me the BS about people having to wait for months to get health care in countries where health care is universal. I had the previlege to live in both kinds of system. I never went to doctor in the US when I was a student even when I had an insurance. I had to pay $20 upfront (3 hrs of pay) which discouraged me. I couldn't afford a crown in the US because it cost me $1200. I went back to Nepal and got it done.
But when I was living in France few years back, I got another crown for free (65% paid by the government and rest by my private insurance). When I was in germany, I got a vey painful tennis-elbow. I went to 20 sessions of physical therapy fully paid by my tax money. I understand you guys living in the US who don't have much money don't have the luxury I had when I was in europe. But believe me, universal health care system takes a lot of stress off your shoulder.

hurray,
Why are you bringing the same topic again and again?I didn't say US healthcare system is the best in the world and yes it has many problems. But I am hopeful that changes are coming to fix it. And I also thank god that our founding fathers are not whiner like you who just complains all the time instead of improvements. Every single country in this world has problem. You do not have to explain in emotional way like above to explain things which everyone know s here. You sounded like US government did nothing to improve the system. I am glad you do not live in America because we have enough whinners like you. Enjoy your Australian free healthcare, education etc.

Although most of other things that I have posted have been about conspiracy theories, this one hits closer to heart and deals with more relevant topic.

Education, more so college education is turning into a capitalistic gain organization which partner with banks to thrust the next generation into debt right when they are trying to get started in their life.

Let's face it. The real estate industry had a similar deal with the banks and we all know what happened - banks had to be bailed out by the government because too many people started to default on their loans.

College loans are going to be another increasing tool that colleges employ to make quick money while the banks are more than happy to create money to load to the students, while at the same time banks know that the government will bail them out in case of crisis. There is no accountability of who makes how much money before the crisis that led to the crisis.

Due to globalization, the price of many IT jobs have gone down because people in India and Nepal can do things cheaper. In a similar way, education which used to be one of the biggest attraction is now systematically being converted into a money making machine to feed the bankers pocket while thrusting the new and fresh generation into perpetual debt. While inflation has been 4 to 5 percent every year, cost of college education has been increasing at 20 to 25%.

It is interesting to note the government's inaction in controlling college costs while they have increased their budget hundred folds for the prison system and defense in the past decade.

When greed surpasses other human emotions then people who are constantly trying to make more and more money by using systematic abuse of the working population, will stoop down to the darkest depth of inhumanity.

The greatness of this nation used to be in the care that the government showed it's citizens, but now this same government has increasingly and clearly shown that it's main goal is to meet the corporate greed first and then take any credit for the minimal side effect which carries over to the citizens.

As globalization increases, and cameras are everywhere it is becoming increasingly difficult for the corporate pawns in the government to initiate foreign warfare to make sure that the weapons industry is profitable. Now they have the treacherous job of having to internalize the sale of these atrocious weapons and to perpetuate the profit of these corporations, by militarizing their own police force and spend more money on the prison system than schools and colleges.

If these greed based objectives are not put on hold, then the fall of the empire is not too far, and I am afraid they might take down the whole world with them due to the enormous fire power that have been developed.

I still have hope that one day the people behind the greedy corporations will wake up and realize what they are doing. After all you cannot take all the money to their graves, and the world needs to exist so that their offsprings can enjoy their inheritance.

Shajamitra, looks like you need to read a lot of books. You seem to have a very limited knowledge of things. The founding fathers were definitely not whiners. But let me give you one secret, most of them were inspired by Voltaire (all human are born equal, remember?) and were part of french philosophical school of thoughts in Paris.
But that's alright, you seem to miss the bigger picture of things. You must be young. I used to think like you many years back. It's alright, one day you will realise. Let's have some hope, hoina ta?

This whole infographic is full of fallacy.

Student debt/loan - That's true but there are also financial aid and grants. Millions are educating themselves at far less cost than normal who can not afford to pay. Are you an international student? Illuminati, if so you all are charged astronomically. That doesn't make America bad.

Prison expenses - America let in all kind of third world, South American shit dump on this land and you expect them all to be humble and nice. Immigrant related crimes are all over. Prison is there to safegaurd the safety of it's citizens. And there are prisons where prison labor are turned to industrial production too.

Military expenses - It's sad as am opposed to any war and killing but surrounding world left no choice. Constant threats and attacks, this country has become the target for it being the super nation of the world and it's battered with all kind of attacks all times. It's every nation's right to fortify it's security. I agree there are some unneeded indulgence. I blame it to politics. Strengthening is for good. Sounds bit silly, USA and it's military might will be there if some outerspace intervention should happen. Before you chuckled at my sentence before this, I didn't make it up, one US president had made comment about it in the past. There are possibility.

So, before you follow who are trying to brainwash you, see from the level of surface and introspect your judgment. I'm not saying to listen to either government or any other group. Just use your conscience in a manner that sounds rational and true not just unrealistic like this infographic.

Yuvraj,

I'm from Canada. We have universal healthcare access here. Some provinces charges minimal premium, some don't charge at all. You speak of wait lines for cardiac and hip surgeries. I've got news for you. Sky is not falling in Canada. Wait time in Canada is highly exaggerated, especially by the conservatives.

What you have attempted to do here is to engage in strawman fallacy (e.g., I had to wait in line at the bus stop yesterday; therefore, there is always a line up at the bus stop).

I'm glad you're only yuvraj and not the King of the world.

Why don't you look it up and illuminate us.
What is the media wait time for elective total hip replacement for osteoarthritis in Canada as a whole and whichever province you love in?
