After long contemplation ma chai TPS apply garne bhaya. Tara problem chai mero passport expire bhai sakyo. k expire passport ko copy send garna milcha ta I-821 form sangai ?

Expired passport le sayad hudain hola... Your solution would be to get a temporary passport first and then apply for a new passport along with it. Make sure that you have scanned copy of your old passport.

If you live in newyork , then you can visit the consulate , they will verify your passport and return your passport. You also need to bring your original copy of your "नागरिकता".
It is a different story for the dc embassy though. They will keep your passport and "नागरिकता" until they receive your new passport. I heard that on request , they will return the old one, but not sure how true is that.

To apply for TPS

Send the copies of your old passport and temp passport..don't wait until you get your new one. also you should send the copy of all pages of your old passport (do not just send front and back page).

You also need to send few other documents (pay-stub, phone bills, contract or medical bills) to prove your continuous residence since June 25th. let us know if you are unsure what documents you need to provide.

Huncha bro my passport was expired on JUNE 2015 ani NAYA MRP passport chahi banauna deko thiye so still mahile tyahi expired passport ko date haru halle apply garna lai. For a while I thought tiniharu leh khi bhancha ya naya passport ayesi patha bhancha bhanthaneko thiye but still I got my TPS AND EAD approved. So bhuntekaji ji majjale gare huncha expired passport leh ni :)

It's is okay to apply with an expired passport . I did mine . But that expired passport cannot be used as an identification for fingerprints . U will need a valid us drivers license or other acceptable forms of id .
