Let's say you want to stay in Nepal for a year for family/personal reason. How much do you have to pay as Visa fee?
Is there an economical way for a Nepal born naturalized US citizen to be in Nepal for long?

Get a 15-day on-arrival tourist visa at the airport by paying $25.

On the 15th day, go to the immigration office at DilliBazaar with one of your parents along with your nagarikta and relationship verification document and apply for "relation" visa.

The cost is $5/month. It's only good for single-entry. Multiple-entry costs $60/year (flat fee), I think.

So if you want to spend a year and take trips outside Nepal, it'll cost you $120.

Hello Sherlock, thanks for your answer, however it was not clear. so single entry cost $5/month and multiple entry cost $60/year? sounds kinda same cost though, then why is cost $120?
Do you have link to the information you mentioned?
thanks

If you don't wish to leave Nepal during your stay, all you do is pay $5/month. If you need/wish to leave, then you'd need to get "multiple entry" stamp which costs $60/year.

Essentially, if you wish to live in Nepal for 8 months and take a trip outside Nepal during your stay, you'd pay $40 ($5x8) and $60.

During my extended stay in Nepal (I lived for nearly 9 months), I got a 15-day visa for $25 and went to the immigration office with my dad and got a multiple-entry visa for 8 months by paying $60 (multiple-entry) and $40 for 8 months.

I forgot to mention, you won't need your parents for relation visa. A close relative will suffice - uncle, aunt, grandparents etc. But relationship verification is a must.

In constitution we can have duel citizenship but without supporting laws it's meaningless. Constitution is not subprime law of land ?

I read in a forum people use '2 different passports' from 2 different countries. Use one passport while entering one country and use other while coming back. It's like:

Going to Nepal
Check in – Airline at US—Show my Nepali passport
Arriving immigration at KTM – Show my Nepali passport

Return flight
Checked in airline – Use my US passport
Departing immigration at Nepal: Use Nepali passport
Arriving immigration at US: Use my US passport

Does anyone know if it work for Nepal and US too??

@Hereiam
Why would immigration officers in Nepal let you pass through them under Nepali passport while departing. You need to show the proof to be able to travel to USA. You have to show US Passport.

You might be right ny2.
But the thing is " you depart on the same passport you arrived on".
There is lot of instance people has done in case of other countries.
Check this one:

I'm curious too if it is possible for NEPAL.

It's not possible in Nepal that way. The immigration officers at the departure location need evidence that your trip to the country is allowed . So if you are travelling to US, they want to see either a US visa on Nepalese pasport.
The only way you can get out of Nepal by showing just Nepalese passport with no visa is if you are travelling to India.
