I know it has been discussed numerous times here but I would appreciate if someone can give me a short, simple answers with out any jargons. I have a relative who wants to get some sort of IT jobs while she is waiting to figure out things on her field. So, what would be the best IT related training to land a job without having any backgrounds on IT? I have heard lot of non IT people taking training and landing some of IT jobs so I assumed it wont be too hard for her as well. Please suggest some options.

As far as I know, most of the people with non IT background is doing QA/BA jobs, and there are multiples consultancies around Virginia that provide QA/BA training.

Low level machine assembly language may be good for you. It is very easy to learn.

Thanks guys. Its not for me but that really does not matter. I just wanted to get some inputs from the folks in this field. I hope these consultancies will provide online training so she does not have to move.

How is SQL DBA for non IT? Is it too technical?

Can Out of status F1 students take the IT training to come in status or get new I-20?
