I checked my online bank account yesterday late night and found two transactions in my (college)bank account that was not by me. one was around 450$ in office depot and another like 160$ in walgreens. both were used in CA, Pascadena. I live in Fl and I have my debit card with me. Its my college money network(online bank). how can anyone use that way while the card is with me all the time and I use it only in specific purpose? I am filing a dispute, but I am asked to wait until it gets posted in my account as one of them is still in pending. its very shocking.Has anyone been through this situation? will i get my money back?

I got the same reply from my bank ("wait till it gets posted"), but it was in case of credit card and not bank account. Somebody was buying stuffs in Texas while I was in the midwest. I told the bank, I'm not waiting for posting, just block all transactions and they did it immediately. If the bank is saying let it be posted, then probably you will get it back.

Call your bank and dispute the transcation asap. You should have a phone number on the back of card.

You are the victim of identity theft. You MUST report to the police and need a police report.

This usually happens to BOA customers .. no big deal call bank dispute the charge they will send you a new card and that's it. I don't think you are a victim of identity theft.
