People can now officially weigh in on a proposal by the Trump administration to punish legal permanent residents who have used certain public benefits by making it harder for them to get a green card or visa.

I don't know why Nepalese who are trying to get green card are so scared abt this. This is a proposal and not a final rule. A final rule will have effective date. And if you are so worried abt using public beneifit you have until that effective date to withdraw from whatever benefits you are using currently. Immigration officer cannot deny your GC based on the benefits you've used prior to the effective date of this rule.

If you have nothing no education , no job no skill and relying on public benefit is only your option, then God help you
