Hello Sajha Gurus,

My I-140 was approved on Feb 2019, and I have now received EAD card as well with travel. A employer who I am working as a contractor has offered me a FT job. Can I switch to this employer provided that they agree to sponsor the pending I-485 ? Has anyone done this before.. could you please share your experiences.

I would ask the employer if they would be willing to wait.
Reasons
Another year before you get your GC, then you will be free to take any contracts. You will have better negotiation power.
FT will require to clear background checks again. You consultancy will be pain in the ass to verify.
Can send fake resume to Lawyers and USCIS, if working with the employer this is risky.
