Trump to suspend issuing green cards for 60 days
Trump on Tuesday announced details of his executive order to suspend immigration amid the coronavirus pandemic, saying the measure would initially last for 60 days and apply to those seeking permanent residence. Trump portrayed the action, which he first previewed in a tweet late Monday night, as an effort to protect American workers from competition overseas. He indicated during a White House briefing that there would be certain exemptions, but did not elaborate.

Thank God. This doesn't not affect adjustment of status for those already in US. Only for green card recipient coming from abroad.

Khai bro, I think it would affect overall cases which would lead to GC houna ra. AOS pani ta path to GC nai ho ni. Or it's just whoever its outside. I thought sabai GC processing would be on halt regardless of inside or outside the country including i140, AoS even I see OPT and H1bs would get tough to be getting approved.

Only for people outside the country, people already inside the country won't be hit with this immigration ban. It might be tough for GC, H1b but the ban won't affect people inside.

the document signed by Mr. Trump mentions that it will not affect greencards for the applicant already in US and wont affect tourist visas or temp work visas. so USCIS will still issue GC for AOS applicants when offices are open.
