Wasn't Gunther Cunningham's defense supposed to shut down the very ineffective Denver offense? Wasn't the departure of Portis to the skins supposed to end Denver's long and successful RB dynasty? I hope Sean Salisbury and those other idiots who were commenting on how unsuccessful the Broncos will be this year because of the trade finally get to see again what Broncos football is all about!

Week 1 is too early to jump into conclusion. I thin Devner are a good team but doubt that they will win it all this year. Although PLummer is a great QB, he is prone to injuries.Anyway the team that most impressed me were Browns, Redskins and Lions.

I think Federer is a great player...He is young, quick and mentally equipped. But I dont think he is up there to be compared with Sampras..He still has a long way to go before he can get there...Sampras undoubtedly was JOrdan of tennis and Federer..Lebron James :)..we will see what the kid can do in few years.

Anyway I am amazed by the suddem emergence of Russian females in tennis circuit..good for the sport...some more blondes ;) On serious note its good to see real tennis players make it big rather than there for only looks like..Kournikova.

Broncos were impessive last nite. the void left by portis was successfully filled by upcoming new talent Griffin ( is he shortest RB in the league?)

KC defense was okay. It was cunninghams' first game as a defensive coach and it will get better as season goes. I would not count them out. And I don't think you can rate any team with their first week performance. I still think KC is the team to beat in the AFC WEST.

KC has better chance than Denver coz last 3(that i rem) champions lost the first game.

2001 New England lost to Cincinnati (17-23)
