Gyanendra is a wise king. He speaks very intelligently. He shows himself to be quite an educated person. I always had doubts about his abilities. Now I am reassured.

What he needs to focuss is to inflict mortal blow to the Maoist terrorism. He is not going to be a dictator. He understands that it will not work in post 1990 Nepal. He was said to be a hardliner during Panchayat. Then there was all powerful monarchy. Times have changed. Monarchy has changed.

Meanwhile He should not let the gulf between him and political party widen unnecessarily. If they are belligerent still, he should not worry. In Nepal there are volatile and restive young people. He should always strive to win them over to his side for his crusade against the Maoist savagery.
