I have one interesting memory. Last year I was returning back to NY from Boston through Luckystar bus and I never imagined that there are other Nepalese too in the same bus. Then I got a call from my fren and I started to talk with him in our MATRIBHASHA ( I hope you can guess what I mean). When I finished call then one of the lazy from my front seat asked me are you from Nepal ? I told yeah. Then she told me that she was also from Nepal then I was surprised and I remember the conversation between me and my fren. My face turned to be red. Actually that girl didn't look like Nepali. She was wearing very very shot skirt and most part of her upper portion was open and face was also little bit dark than average Nepali. Then I asked her don't take negatively what I was talking with my fren. Then we sit together and had a long conversation until we got back to NY. So, my advice is just look around whereever you are and don't be surprised if you find some NEPALI.

Hi mercury, same thing happend to me. I think many of those whose who fly KLM to come to London, Amstredam, Helsinki, Stockholm, Paris or wherever (in Europe) the plane has transit in Abu Dabhi then it halts in BAHARAHAIN for 15 minutes to clean plane and to fill the fuel.......... There at Baharahain airport,,,,,,,,,,,,, in 15 minutes break have u ever noticed the CLEANERS???????? to my surprise.........they were talking to themselves and I was surprised they were all Nepalis........ more than a dozen. speaking our mother language...laughing and joking tit was great and I was really happy to know abt them, Italked to them for couple of mintues and at least it was good job, they were paid handsomely....... BUT one thing is sure they were speaking our mother tounge ha ha ha ha hah a( U know it..........) By the way, are there Nepalis around Africa; Eastern Europe (Estonia, Bulgaraia, Ukraine, Hungary, Czec, Latvia, etc) and what about.... in Central America Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala...............???? Any idea?????

Me too. I got surprised when I was on a bus one day. It was quite. Some were sleeeping and some were taking a good view of ouside. one of them was me. suddenly, the loud voice (only hers) roared among us. Everybody got annoyed. She was speaking in Nepali and was saying " dai.........la ta" and so on. I knew instanly she was Nepali but I was shocked because everybody on the bus seemed angry! I did not dare to ask her. I did not even know when/wehre she got off from the bus.
