Never have I seen Zidane, a true sportsman, being ticked off like that yaar. Euta kura ke, whenever I have seen Zidane being fouledl, he doesn't act like other player. He gets up and the game goes on. He is truely a sportsman and its disappointing to see him end his great career like this. I suspect it could have been some kind of racist comment that was said for Zidane to head butt like this. Italians are very good at making such comments. However, that doesn't necessarily give him the cushion for such behaviour. But I can understand why he must have done that.

It is sad, but as the view of a neutral supporter, the best team lost today. A true football agony but what can you do, 100 years from now, scribbled in Fifa note book will not say France played good but lost, but Italy are the World Champions of 2006.

And for that, the glory of football, that had lost for me with Portugal and Holland, have made sure that it might not come back any sooner.
