Hi Guys and gals
Do u think it is ethical to do someone's school assignments in return of money?

I have been doing this since last couple of months. Students, who are "too busy" to do their assignment come to me, I charge them some money (ranging from $50 to $400). A week back, I talked to one of the lecturers in my University about this. He thinks that this is not ethical. I believe, it is not ethical to buy assignment, but totally moral to do it for someone else and charge him some money. What do u say?

Who cares as long as you don't cheat from others..

just do it. it's not you who are losing. the losers would be the one to pay you to do it.
if i were you i continue the trend.
make money and pay for your own tuition fees.

does it really matter what someon else says, you do what you think best for you.
and the point is, even if its unethical, then would you stop doing it.

but ya, if you're doing it to help them, then i dont think you're really helping them, but actually harming them.

but again, if its just a source of your income then well..u gotta do whatever you think is the best way for you.

what the heck? you are pointing out a black shirt and asking " is it white?". plagiarizing and helping others to plagiarize are equally unethical. well, if you are happy with it then i have nothing to say, but helping out others by giving them tips/hints is a different thing but writing assignments and taking freaking dollars for it is like taking a bribe from others to get things done, in my view. shame on you! :P :P

Maoists will punish you if they find you...hehehehehehe...ofcourse it is unethical!!! In some universities, the students are made to sign a paper that states that they didn't give/receive help to complete the assignment. You are not obeying or helping others not to obey the code of conduct.

there was this incident a man was killed by maoist because he stole chicken ..now loote and fuser might come to ur door so be careful!!!!:P

I don't think Using his talent to earn some dollars and help other people is not bad.. It will make him more knoledegable in his studies and easy money...:-)

well powergal, i am not saying its bad for him. but what about the code of conduct and ethics? do you know how the students who are being helped by him, gonna benefit from this? yes, they may get better grades, but what about the knowledge they are supposed to acquire? do you support taking bribes? if you do, then you should applause oz. i don't. as for making money and getting knowledge are concerned there are other ethical ways of achieveig both. why resort to sth grossly unethical?

in a way you are right. if everybody start thinking for themselves and care a damn about the rest of the world then all is fair.

What is even more interesting is that it is efficiently working in the real world. Why do you go to college anyway? To best prepare yourself for the real world? Alrite..

Sajha user, go ahead report to any authority u like. I just talked to a lawyer friend, he said there is no law on that matter in australia. Well, yeh he said my University can kick me out easily if they find an evidence. Bhagwan, u can't imagine . . . I went to see a lawyer for that (well it was just a brief informal conversation though).
U r right Loote, people do all sorts of things to make $$$. They sell drugs and what not. I'm doing something that is not as bad.Yeh of course, u can not make everybody happy.
Power Gal, yes, definitely not that I'm gonna make some sort of "assignment center" in future. . . just until I get a "proper" job where I can apply all my "gyaan". I need to sustain my life u know. After all I'm getting good knowledge, its making me learn new things and do all sorts of freaking research and stuff. I guess this is my way to wisedon.
