I am just wondering what do u guys/gals think about this news? Is it alright to give this much of money to Maoists?

Govt approves Rs 100 million for Maoists

A meeting of the Council of Ministers today decided to provide an additional amount of Rs 100 million rupees to the Maoists for management of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) cantonments.

The amount will soon be released to the Maoists, ministers told reporters after the cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.

The government had provided Rs 70 million rupees to the Maoists for immediate management of the PLA camps established in seven different places around the country.

The Maoists had demanded Rs 560 million from the government for management of the PLA camps.

Maoists claim that the PLA is 35,000-strong. The United Nations is yet to verify the number of Maoist combatants and their arms. The verification process will start following a tripartite agreement involving the UN, the government and the Maoists, which is likely to be signed today

If you don't give them money,they will loot bank and take money...whatever the scenario would be,they will get money...peacefully or forcefully...

yeah u r true but i guess this is also a kind of looting but without any force or anything. i am wondering what's gonna happen to our country. everyday, a new country sucking leech is sucking the country's economy.

Nothing will happen until educated people decides to go back to serve own nation...
