I don't think our leaders can have such a big brain for master plans like in that movie. Moreover, the movie also show about discriminations and wiping out unwanted people, whereas our leaders are only concerned on accumulating wealth.

Our country is in a great need for Vs not to torch the national property like in the picture above, but to cut the dead old grasses so that it can become green again.

It might be appropriate to call this guy a Moron ; based on the pic Only.

It is the fustration of people with the government; Do you even know why there was an agitation ?

Police tried to stop the expression of people and ended up that way. Just becaus it is government property means nothing; how was the property used ?what's the purpose?

Just being Critical but I do agree its about time to move on and stop all this Bunds and Atanka.

It was really the best way of taking out frustrations in nepal; vandalising shops in birgunj during vandh (which they retaliated); killing the patient in ambulance in western Nepal; torturing the public for their selfish demands (if they say it's not selfish demand and doing it for the sake of people, look what the majority of public has to say). They'll torch any vehicle that is on the way, not only that police van. This is the culture we've established. Moreover, if you really want to go to depth, listen to today's bbc at www.bbc.co.uk/nepali; the demonstrators organizations' affiliated person is the education minister, and their demand is with education ministry. Whatever the demans or frustrations are, the culture of bandhs and vandalising property should be stopped, and culprits whoever should be punished.

mapaii; fyi

bbc , cnns and all the coroporate so called 1st world will never be able to capture the frustrations and lack of opportunities to move up and improve their living standards of 95% of population in Nepal.
U are the status Quo.
Why did 13 year olds have to carry guns instead of laptops? - did they have any choice.
If you had a choice to be a servant in somebody else's house or have the opportunity carry a gun and shape ur future - What would u chose.
Again I hate whts goin on in Nepal but am tryin to be realistic. Try to see the others not through your eyes but in their eyes.
The guy didn't just wake up in the wrong side of bed and went to burn the police van.

Yea, lack of opportunities, frustrations or whatever will justify for wrong doings. Why make public suffer? It's organized crime; not just the personal frustrations. It's because of no culture of punishing the culprits. Carry guns against whom? I can't have laptop, and I chose gun to kill my own brother? I hope I'll be at least little intelligent to kill those corrupted bastards, rather than making the life of others like me miserable again. What is the sense of these bandhs? I can't agree when bandhs or vandalising properties are justified for any reasons. I say those responsible should be punished to discourage people from destroying property.

Recently, the students of faculty of education took out all the papers from district education office, and burned them. Who's gonna suffer from that? Isn't it the people, whose precious documents are stored there? When students got less marks, they burned down the Central department of English at TU. Really good way of taking frustrations out. Destroying public properties in poor country like ours is definitely going to create more opportunities for frustated peoples.

I agree that students were frustated, but that can't be justified what they did.
