I am new to sajha. I heard pretty good things about it, hence am here. But what I see is only about 2% (approx, haven't done a research) of the total threads are worth a read, which leads me to conclude:

* Only about 2% of the total users are mature.

* Rest are into "What you had for lunch", "Person above me"(have no idea what is that about), "My favorite body parts" and all.....

Is sajha always like this, or best days are yet to come? Or shall I change myself, or shall I quit it for good?

The pattern will NOT change. You have to adjust yourself according to the pattern and get what you need and throw away what you don't. And there are times when you find lots of good threads in a row and sometimes you will find series of not-so-useful threads.

So, staying for a few days more is not enough, we have stayed her for a few years, and know the nature of sajha. You might had too many expectations before coming here, so you seem disappointed, but sajha is like our life, we cannot have all the happiness in two days. Each day comes with happiness, sorrow, joy, anger, and every other emotions. Sajha is analogous to life.

Welcome to Sajha, Godzilla! Very true, that many of the posts are trashy while others are created to have fun and, a very few, intellectual.

While, as much as I would like you to be here, but maybe, according to your standards, this may not be the best platform for you to have intellectual discussion. I think Sajha just gives a platform to all Nepali to voice their feelings and maybe some people are just misusing it and polluting it. I personally think it is okay to create the threads to have fun; for not all of us, who come here from various walks of life, have the same motive of Sajha browsing.

What I cannot understand is some people are offended as if I have revolted or something. I was only intending to make it a better place. I am not against light threads. Just concerned about it's dominating volume over useful threads. Tetti ho.

Second, It is upto you to expose yourself! My first impressions tend to be sensible , so sensible enough that i think twice before i even think! [ and this time i am not ;) ]

If you are here / anywhere for some days, you'd reply to sensible threads. If you are here for some MORE days, you will start to think in here .. write sensibly insensible stuffs, if you got what i mean.
