One of my friends is receiving some phone calls from past one month. The person who is calling him never talks to him, but instead ends the call. This person is using four different phone numbers, and according to some research done,these phone numbers are landline. Is there any free website to track these numbers? OR is there any other way to find out?

Call 911, and ask them to tap the phone..make a case for some sort of mental harrassment.... Even the local phone company can do that and advise the law enforcement folks....

Naakpore, like KnightCrawler suggested, it is better to go to the authority if the calls are really harrassing, but if you know for sure they are landline phone numbers, post the numbers here or e-mail me, I will try to give you a little detail associated with each phone numbers.

Now, having said that, I hope its not his Ex gf/wife or the likes......have seen that before too ! Otherwise, just calling and hanging up does not make sense....Anyways, I've been wrong before.....

My friend doesnot have any girl friend or ex-girlfriend. If somebody likes him then there is no reason to call him like that.The caller calls him and ends the call and it's been a while. He doesn't have any hostility behaviour, so i can tell he doesn't have any known enemies. He used to work in an Indian restaurant , but now due to lack of time, he don't work over there. I don't know who the hell is calling him like this without any reason.

call the telephone service provider. I do not know in your country but in the country i live in, if i call the service provider, they can keep track of the numbers you get harassing calls and block those phone numbers. I the country I live in, there is a shortcut button (I dont know that now tho) which you can press immediately after you get that call. And the service provider will block that number for you. if the harassing doesnt stop, they will report it to the police. You do not have to do anything after that.

So, all you need to do is, call the service provider and tell them that you are receiving harassing calls.

ok! I understood why ur fren is getting these calls.

The numbers which call ur fren are actually the routing numbers. These numbers are generally used when ppl from India, China etc make cheap calls to USA.
I regularly get these sorts of calls. Noone speaks and when u call back, noone picks the phone up. even. sometimes i get the calls 1 am at night.

when u get any calls, search the number through google...
just enter that # in the search box, and u will see lots and lots of ppl making cooment abt that phone calls.

Dimag kharab, it's been like more than 1 month and my friend reveives those calls everyday and at the same time.

make sure your friend is not suffering from Multiple Personality syndrome.

It lists most of the phone numbers used for such call and comments.

If it isn't there, you can look up using your number.

Try listing your phone number on Do not call list .

If they still do and you know who did, you can go to the police.
