Lately I have been hearing about this man a lot. Initially I really did not care about him. It was when i knew his name was one of most searched word on the internet I was curious to browse about him.

The more I learn about him more I get impressed. This is one man that i think everybody should know of. He is a politician/congressman/phisician/ EX-US Airforce flight surgeon.....list goes on and on...for those who believe in god he is a god send. And most important of all is HE WANTS TO BECOME THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN 2008.

I have never admired anybody in my life to this degree. He is genuine, articulate, knowledgeable, brave, most principled and LAST HOPE FOR AMERICA and so THE LAST HOPE FOR THE WORLD.

I am not a us citizen nor i am a PR. But i know lot of sajha members are and they will vote in 2008. I thought this is also a good platform to spread his message of freedom.

you said that he has never voted to raise taxes. So that's good? First of all, what kinda taxes? It could be corporate tax or income tax or simply tax on capital.
Taxes are an important part of the fiscal policy and should be dealt like a weapon to decrease the budget deficit or something like that.
I don't see what the hype is about. I hope Obama wins.

I don't think he will win the primaries but if he does he'll get my vote. He is more of a libeterian than a republican. I agree with almost everything that he stands for.

It is an income tax he is against for. He actually advocates for eventual phasing out of IRS (which he believes was established unconstitutionally). I think that is the best thing for working people like us. He is also for sound money system (dollar backed by gold).
It is my understanding that america prints money out of thin air and cause inflation (which is also a kind of tax). Corporate jiants benefit from inflation but the poor people are ones to suffer. Federal reserve is responsible for printing money in US. the name federal researve is a illusion. It is neither Federal nor it has any reserve. US congress does not have any control over this institution. big private banks own it. Ron paul is the only one who seems to care all this and he wants to change the system.

Obama is a frontrunner in DEMs but his views are not very clear. And most important he is not serious about ending the Iraq war even though he recently voted against the war funding bill.
