Hey, I am moving to Minneapolis area this august and I was wondering if anyone could give me some info on apartments around the Minneapolis area. I heard it's better to live in the southern suburbs. Also if anyone is already living in an apartment there and looking for an apartment mate, I would be willing to share the apartment. I just graduated and will be starting on my new job from September. I am 22 and an easy going guy. thanks - help would be really appreciated.

try craigslist.com....uptown is a good and fun area if u don't have a car...but eventully you'll need a car....

I am living rightnow in Minneapolis but will be moving after August. Well the apartment varies from $700 for one bedroom and $800 for two bedroom. But if you signed the lease for a year, you might get it cheaper.

Burnsville is 25 mins. South of Minnapolis...u could get 1 bedroom apt with washer dryer and garage for $700. It's called Nicollet Ridge...don't go for the listed price...ask for promotional deal if u r signing a yr lease.
