Anybody in Sajha from BRT?
I grew up in Biratnagar.

I was in BRT past Dashain . Man, the best part of my visit, besides seeing my family and friends, was eating "chatpate" and "Ghupchuk".

The main road is crowded than ever. Nare's sekuwa is still there.

Kali mandir seemed different than what I used to visit back then.

Rikshaw ride was so much fun and inexpensive. (Rs. 15 minimum fare)

The roads have more potholes.

Back then, there were only few spots where you could find momo. Now there are momo joints in almost every chowk.

 

well i dunno the name of the pasale..there are quite a few out there..but we call him mama..i used to visit that place with my friends from MM campus..damn cheap place and yet the sukuti, bhuja and chiura sadheko are mouth waterin..

I am planning to visit during the winter ..and I would definitely have all the delicacies.. chatpate, ghupchuk, thela ko momo, buff momo, fish head in the macha line, sekuwa at Nare's place...

jhalmuri near the old gudri market satu shop, veg momo near chula chuli art at traffic chowk...and of course chai at the chacha pasal at Gudri ..

We used to go to the quality pauroti factory and eat all kinds of stuff Udharo ma.

anyone from Siddhartha sishu sadan? went there to school 94/95 studied grade 6 & 7. i liked biratnagar. i used to live in madhumara, very nice place. devkota chowk, hatiya, jaljala cinema hall, dahsain mela, playing soccer at adarsha shool and stadium in front of it, gopal park(not quite sure),soccer tournament, the saino club, our anti- st. joseph, etc etc still in my memory. still in touch with few friends in biratnagar.

रिठ्ठे, उधारो को प्रसङग आएकोले एउटा काहानी याद आयो । कुरा २०४८ साल तिर को हो , हामी आठ क्लास मा पढ्थ्यौ । एउटा मिल्ने साथीले मेन रोड घर भकी एउटी केटी लाई मन पराएर हैरान। सधैं स्कुल बाट घर आएपछी साईकल लीएर घर आईपुगी हाल्थ्यो । अनी त के छ र , त्यो केटी को घर अगाडि चट्पटे र झ्यालमुरी खाँदै घण्टौ बस्यो । उधारो खान थालियो , हुँदा हुँदा १५०- २०० रुपिया सम्मा पुग्थ्यो । पछी त्यो केटी ले अर्कै केटा भेटेपछी हामी त्यहा जान छोड्यौ । त्यो चट्पटे वाला को १५० जती पनि कसैले दिएन । पछी हामी मैन रोड बाट हिंड्नै छोड्यौ । होस्पिटल रोड भएर एकै पटक जलजला हल , अनी त्यहा बाट मेन रोड पक्डेर गूद्री ।

हरे त्यसरी मन पराएको केटीलाई सिजन खेल्न जाँदा नि उधारो चटपटे खाएर हुन्थ्यो त ! तेइ भर त्यो केटीले अर्कै खोजिछे नगद खानि !

Long time ago... I think it was 1999 batch. Last batch to give SLC exam on old curriculum.

hi, i am also from Biratnagar. near stadium. Is Bajeko Pasal still exist? havent been to BRT since 1988.

Any sajha mitra haru from Bargachi-Chandani chowk(Biratnagar) area?

Hi I grew up in Brt as well. Went to Budhanilkantha School till 9. I used tio live near Kanya School. I think its Moti Chowk. Have not been to BRT since 1991.
