Good Morning frens,

If somebody gets a f-1 visa in the first week of Nov but the classes it will start only from first week of January, is there any time limit that he/she can come to US. I mean to say can he/she come any time like ( 2nd week of Nov).
Your help will be appreciated.

U arenot technically allowed to enter US before 4 weeks of the class start date that is mentioned in ur I-20.

I came 2 mths before my class actually started, so I don't think there is any restriction.

It may have been 90 or 100 days earlier, but at my time, there was 30 days restriction before the start of class, and a special chit was given together with the visa as USEF later informed that some nepali students had to return from the port of entry. I don't know if the rules are changed again.

Until a year ago,we can enter 90 days before but we can't enter now before 30 days.Anyway,go to USEF.
