If your laptop has no wireless adapter, there is no way you can download anything to fix it. However, it may be the case that your computer is not able to detect the wireless adapter even if there is one. In such situation, you can install wireless driver which will fix the problem. The page below has all the drivers you need for dell inspiron 6000. You should be able to find specific driver that you need from this page. http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&ServiceTag=&SystemID=INS_PNT_6000&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid=

hello aznshawty, I think your laptop had Windows Vista and probably you get rid of it. The driver you can get for your wireless adapter in the Dell's web page is for Vista and it is not compatible with other OS. You can google for the driver. Give the manufacturer name of your wireless adapter(you can find it in tech. specification in Dell page) and install the appropriate one.
