This is for a class project on Racial Stereotypes of Beauty for my sociology class. My question seeks to study the perception of beauty from a Nepali standpoint, and the comparison scale is white women. So..Who do you think is prettier?? I know some people will give half  answers like "Depends, some Nepali girls are prettier than Khairis and vice-versa," but please try to state in more "general terms," it would really help me out.

Beauty is in the eye of the observer. In my eyes nepali girls are more beautiful but khairis are sexier.

Yes, like Nepalithitto mentioned above, 'Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder'.  My eyes see Nepali girls far more beautiful and sexier than those fat "Khairis". To me, in order to look beautiful and sexy; a girl must have a gentleness and feminine qualities which normally don't have  in "Khairis".

   seems to me that u've put urself into quite a big hole? ..... u c i m in a small one too .... i didn't quite get u ... are u talking abt the external looks or the inner aspect of beauty? ... if it's the outer one, well kuirinis are tall, have big tits, sharp curved bodies ( some are like UHHHH, real obese n stuffs), lots of petechial hemorrhages( i haven't been able to find this, may be genetic in nature), and of course, tight round butts with a largely spacious garage for all kinds of automobiles ...... nepalese say abt 10 years ahead of now were pretty shy and kinda conservative too .. but tell yout this, now at this stage, i bet no one can match them .. .from fashion, gadgets, make up, n all other stuffs they are well in the level ... but one thing that really bothers is that they are short statured .... and tell u why, all because of malnutrition ..... the fat deposition below the level of pelvis is however strong enough to support the evidence that they can fairly match up with the kuirinis .... ok .. so let's get deeper inside, the inner self, kuirinis are generally happy go types ... have fun, chill out, hang with multiple partners( irrespective of the fact that, STDs are always running after them), straight n forward, elegant, n dangerous .... nepalese in the other hand too are freaks but these days too a greater extent, they aren't dangerous, instead they are termed according to my thesis, "potentially hazardous", bombshells, redheads, they have long overshadowed the impact kuirinis had in the market ... they have reached greater heights n certainly, there's no doubt that they will end up reaching the pinnacle of this era ....  so just relax .. take a sip of coffee ... think abt all the girls you have been out with or slept with? .... what was that one thing u found a little different abt them .... that awkward thing in them ... put them into an order ... analyze ..re-analyze ..proof read n then finally come to the conclusion .... no matter asians, american, african, european ... one thing that remains the same everywhere is that they are girls ..... a harrasement to the male society ... a waste of time, money, energy, n yeah, body secretions ....... mystery unveiled ... now n forever...... chaos ....

Define 'beauty' first and then we can go form there....

Nepali is Nepali yaar........ Yo khaire bhaneko 1 night matrai ho, actual beauty is Nepali girls.

nepali girls are more beautiful than khairis. khaire haru seem beautiful because they are white in color. nepali girls are beautiful both from outside and inside. imagine a khaire keti with a black skin.

My question is quite simple Bubu Pancha.  By "prettier" I mean the degree of physical attractiveness. My paper has nothing to do with "inner" or other abstract descriptions of beauty.

guys.. let's help chappell out..and be honest here.. i know you are trying not to offend our nepali girls.. but believe me.. i bet they feel the same way about us.. hahahaha..

well.. maybe i shouldn't speak for all the nepali amigos here.. so let's say..i'm gonna talk about people i know.. and myself..  i was told that lighter skin is always better.. all my darker skin friends had a hard time getting girls when we were younger or vice-versa.. and if someone looked descent. but had dark skin .people would often make remarks like, "kali/kalay bhaye pani hissie parya cha". (they even have that fair and lovely sh ..it for men in nepal now.. i think they call it fair and handsome or some bs).. and remarks like.. "tyo kati dekhya chass? tyo kasto goori cha yaar.. choyo bhane pani daag lagla jasto cha... kasto chwank!!" told me that lighter skin tone is better.. so that's the nepal i know.. (so please don't blame me..blame the society.. the culture).. and once i hit my teens.. the exposure to western media.. (such as music videos) introduced me to blue eyed vixens.. with tight..lean bodies.. flat abs.. and perfect apple butts....this got me fantasizing about the gori chamdies... 
so my bleach washed brain tells me the defination of beauty is fair skin.. with a model like physique..and if compared to nepali women .. khairinis here do take better care of themselves.. for instance.. by hitting the gym.. or by keeping up with the trends.. when it comes to fashion.. (clothing..makeup.. hairstyle..etc).. they are also more symmetrical.. hahaha.. this is not good.. sorry ladies.. umm.. what else.. i also think they are natural(not exactly.. i guess more exposed and the fact that the society is more open) when it comes to the art of seduction.. starting from the dance floor to the bedroom.. so to keep it short.. they present themselves in a more marketable way(i know.. it is soo shallow of me to put it like that.. i'm just a guy ladies..).. hahaha.. this is really bad.. ok.. before you ladies out there jump out of your chairs...and start throwing.. s.. h.. i.. t.. at your monitor.. i think the feeling is mutual if you had a mind of a dude.... when it comes to nepali men.. tall.. dark and handsome does not apply in most cases.. us.. the nepali guys in general are short..or shorter.. once we reach about 25.. we get our sarkari bhuddiens or somemight call it khandani....and body structure wise we are not as masculine.. (no wonder why we try so hard to prove our masculanity every time we get couple of beers in our system) oh my God what have I done.. am I..now the most wanted sob in nepal.. ? anyways..not to get carried away with the topic..  in conclusion.. people i know.. and myself.. we find the khairinis more attractive in general.. but ofcourse there are some serious nepali hotties out there..and last but not least.. all the shallowness aside.. beauty does lie in the eyes of the beholder.. but ladies.. believe me.. your dude.. is totally lying to you.. when he looks at you and tells you that you are the most beautiful women in the world.. he is looking at you.. but in his mind he is talking to angelina jolie.. and i wouldn't be surprised if you are doing the same thinking about Brad

North, East, South or West...Nepali girls are the best! Not necessarily the prettiest but that doesn't matter. Because beauty is only skin deep. At sixteen all girls look pretty but at sixty, how many can maintain their prettiness? So, prettiness has got its age-limit. Some Nepali girls who come from remote villages are drop-dead gorgeous. And there are others in the city who wouldn't make your head turn. Prettiness can be inborn or it can be cultivated. Most of our western sisters, have polished the art of dressing the salad. But our Nepali ladies are in most instances deprived of the availability of money to spend on clothing and makeup. Furthermore, their fathers would prefer their daughters to look simple so that they would not attract unwanted 'wolves.' Its only natural to protect their pretty daughters. But the western daugther can't wait to turn 18 so that she can now behave and look like a grown woman. And she doesn't care what her father thinks and vice versa. So, if a Nepali girl was given the chance to wear sexy clothes, apply quality makeup and splurge some green bucks...well guys, your Nepali girl will stop you in your treks!

Khairinis are far better than Nepali girls staying in US. But girls in Nepal are beautiful to us coz we are Nepalese .

Won't find too many sistaz up in here, and I'll bet most of these pakhe Americans around here haven't been around that much, so they've probably never seen a black person before.
