Folks, 'tis the season!!!!

I don't know how many out there are following the election process of the next leader of the free world (ahem ahem, I know some of you will sneeze at that remark, but I am feeling Americano today), but my being a political junkie, I am all gung-ho.

Iowa Caucus has just started!!!

Here's my prediction for this caucus, let's see how good a guesser I am.

Democrats: Obama will win by 5% margin. Second will be ... get this.... JOHN EDWARDS. Yeah baby!! The presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton will fall flat on her face and loose to Edwards, albeit by small margin.

Republicans: Mitt Romney will win over erstwhile unknown Huckabee by slim margin.

This will lead to New Hampshire Primary next Monday the 7th. There, I am guessing Obama will again win. The big surprise will be the war hero, the comeback kid, the silver-haired maverick, our man from Arizona, JOHN MCCAIN, who will win over Mitt Romney.

General election come November will be between Barack Obama and John McCain.

So who's gonna drop out?

On Democratic side:

Bill Richardson will drop out today. Dennis Kusinich, Chris Dodd, Joe Biden will drop out after New Hampshire Primary next week.

On Republican side:

It's a tough call, I do not believe anybody will drop out today. But towards the end of January when South Carolina primary is done, they will start dropping like flies, starting with the Lazy Fox.

All this, for what it's worth, is just a calculated guess.

Obama's going down!!  Hillary '08 is a winning proposition all the way.

According to 1010 today, As far as it all comes down to, Obama leads Hillary in the 18-30 category (younger votes): People who are less prone to show up on D-Day to vote.  Hillary has the support of the peeps over 30: The ones who historically have had the highest percentage of turning up at the ballots.  Do the math and if history repeats itself, Obama's gonna trail; eating the dirt off Hill's boots!!   LMAO

Also, to let you know of the insignificance of Iowa, historically less than 50% of the eventual US Presidents have won the Iowa caucas.  The Iowa caucas to simply put it is not to choose the winner but to eliminate the losers.

So CNN predicts Obama is going to win Iowa, and Huckabee has already won Iowa in terms of Republicans.

But it's too early to call it---remember 2004 when Dr. Dean won Iowa, but then perished in New Hampshire?

Though he only trailed at 10% , I still think Ron Paul is the only republican who can beat Hillary. He is a 10th term congressman from Texas, and is a gynecologist with the distinction of having delivered 4,000 babies. He has never voted to raise the tax, he never voted for the Iraq war. He is against BIG government, and totally against the government running our life. He wants to abolish the IRS, Dept. of Homeland Security, and Department of Education (this might be a shock to some people, but please do some research and you will find out that the best result is always achieved when the local government are left to decide what policy to pursue for the betterment of their education.) Dr. Ron Paul ran for president back in the 80's as a Libertarian candidate, so he believes in upholding individual freedom above all.

Ron Paul has the highest number of searches in Google, most videos in youtube and he has the largest grassroot support of any candidate. We call it Ron Paul rEVOLution. He is not being backed by any special interest groups (real owner of America) or Mainstream Media (brainwasher of the people). Ron Paul wants to abolish tax on Tips, and income tax in general. Ron Paul made a history by rising largest amount in one single day, $6.3 millions, entirely through online donation. Ron Paul made history by being the only candidate in the history of world to have his own blimp as a billboard to spread his words. He thinks we should not take up the role of policing the world , but rather trade with other nations and talk with other nations.

Check out his videos in youtube, my friends, I PROMISE you will be captivated by his honesty, integrity and immense knowledge. I think he is the smartest person running for the election now. His understanding of economics is impressive and mastery of American history is untainted by the media or establishment. He speaks what he believes, without fear, he speaks the truth. YOU WILL NOT HEAR ABOUT HIM THAT MUCH IN CNN, FOX, ABC or any of the MSM because he is a risk to the special interest groups. He also wants to close the 'privately held' Federal Reserve bank.

***Hell, back in his college days he did 100m dash in 9.3 sec ;-)

enigma, your last sentence captivated me (rather amused me)

"***Hell, back in his college days he did 100m dash in 9.3 sec ;-)"

That my friend, would be a world record!!  The current WR stands at 9.74 seconds by Asafa Powell of one of our lil-midgety satellite states, Jamaica.

Samsara, you are right, thanks for pointing out. Ron Paul ran 100 yard (not 100m) in 9.7 sec back in the 1950's.

Republican side was a big surprise for me.

I knew Huckabee was surging.  But given all the time, effort and mucho dinero Romney put in his Iowa campaign, I thought he would be insurmountable.  Especially with all the recent gaffes that Huckabee had recently - including "I am not going to do negative ad, but if I were to, this would be it" shenanigan.

I was also surprised on Thompson's third place finish.  The lazy fox hardly put in any time in Iowa.  I thought Ron Paul would come ahead of him.  He cracks me up everytime.  I am all for Ron Paul Revolution, but he never stood a chance.

On the democratic side, Obama-rama exceeded my expectation.  I honestly think he is a genuine material, kinda like Bobby Kennedy.

Now, what's going to happen in NH next Monday?

Far from it Tika:  I was somewhat right only on the Democratic side.  Huck pulled a Bee on me on Republican side.

My guess is Biden's and Dodd's supporters will rally around Obama, and with the momentuam Obama has received from the victory in Iowa, he should be able to attract another half of the uncommitted democratice voters (which is about 8%) in NH. That should give Obama the final push towards the victory in NH.

Clinton will come second by a margin of less than 2%.

Richardson could drop out of the race after NH. Poor guy won't have much money left even though he has everything to be an excellent president!

Romney will win NH. McCain's surge in polls lately is largely due to independent voters, who could vote for either party in NH. Independents will be divided over Obama, McCain, and Ron Paul. So, it remains to be seen which side they go with.
